  1. Yep, agree. Even with 1987, they skip from slipping into the 5 through to losing the prelim. Those 2 winning finals in 1987 where we belted the roos and then the swans were absolute highlights of the 1980's, but don't fit in with the 57 years of pain narrative.
  2. I suggested to my old man (Dees supporter) show this to his brother (Dogs supporter) to let him know we got his name put on our flag for perpetuity. Just to really rub it in.
  3. What a finish to the season. Anybody have an idea of what margin difference vs Crows game we'd need to better them by to take top spot?
  4. I love McNamara, she's full of beans.
  5. First team to ever crack 100 points in an AFLW game. Congrats ladies, you've made history. Great game to watch all round.
  6. The overlap handball is absolutely divine. As is the leading into space. Scintillating stuff.
  7. And then Sherriff repays the favour with a ripper of a pass to Paxy
  8. Selfless pass by Paxy to Sherriff rather than running in and having a shot. Great stuff.
  9. Tayla Harris is a terrific focal point, such a strong overhead mark. And a clever kick too. That was a ripper in the 2nd qtr to Daisy for a goal.
  10. You get an idea of the mindset when the side are 7 goals down but lose by 5 points.
  11. I thought the 50m penalties for "delays" in getting the ball back to the player awarded the free kick made the game really hard to watch. It was interesting that Jordon and Langdon got 50's for "clarifying" who should get the ball before handing it over, and Oliver got a 50m penalty against him for giving the ball back to the wrong player because he didn't ask. So you're damned if you clarify, and damned if you don't, but inadvertently give the ball to the wrong player because you don't know who should have it.
  12. That last goal still brings a tear to the eye....
  13. They must be using an early version sat nav which is taking them the long way.
  14. I still can't fathom why he thought half the Perth based crowd would leave before the end of the game because we were giving them a belting.

  16. Galactic superstar Christian Petracca...
  17. I don't know what Liverpool were thinking here, singing the Western Bulldogs song. Shows a complete and utter lack of respect
  18. Punt road end for home games.
  19. I belt out a good version of it’s a grand old flag at the end of the game. Hopefully that’s not letting the cat out of the bag.
  20. I wonder if the “never before seen experience” is watching the footy with the roof open
  21. Don’t mess with a winning formula I reckon
  22. Great win by the girls. Big test next week! But to the girls’ credit, they just keep getting the job done
