My key worry is twofold - we need to significantly improve on our inside 50 count in games, and we need a strong marking option inside 50 to better convert these additional opportunities. Hoges and Watts need to work together closely on getting kicks up the ground, as they both play this style of game and we don't want to over deplete the forward line; just create more space for the key marking option.

I don't know why this thread hasn't already been closed, it's the most farcical thing I've read this year.

A 3 year contract extension rather than longer could be based on the salary cap potentially opening up in future which could allow us to pay him more later under a new deal.

Hopefully he will play another key role as a forward and at times gets injected into our midfield group". Points to those who had him on the HFF.
