The hope is that he'll be doing the finger pointing and marshaling the leading lanes, while playing a defensive role on one of their off the chain defenders, like a Charlie Comben. The problem with these kinds of losses is that they make 2023 hurt just that little bit more. And seriously, if we had the slow game plan to take it up to Collingwood then, why are we trying so hard to be offensive and free flowing and different now? Has the game changed so much in two years? I can't wait for Steven May to get back, hopefully his presence at least brings about more accountability in holding structure. And maybe Jakey Melksham in the forward line too.
