Some great memories there Superunknown, I’ve been to all those towns you mentioned working with Telecom when all telecommunications went underground and automated during the early 70’s. We saw a lot of country and met a lot of lovely people.

There has been a lot of change in the Mallee Superunknown, I spent a night in Nandaly in Dec 1963, I bought a very old car in City and was driving up to Mildura got a flat tire just out of Nandaly late arvo and had no spare. Slept in the main St and the gentleman who ran the service station sold me a secondhand tyre and helped me change it. Different times, been by passed now, but still think about when driving by.👍😁

Funnily enough when I played for Mildura U16’s we had a black guernsey with a red sash, but sang the Melbourne theme song. One of the reasons I followed Dees, later in 70’s they changed the guernsey to match the song. lol.!!!

I’m glad that you bought Daniel Turner up Dannyz, I am more in the Trent Rivers school but I was struggling with who else and Disco has really stood out since locking himself in the team last year. Would love to see both in the leadership group going forward. Mind you I haven’t totally given up on Jake Lever but that depends on how his body stands up going forward.

Well nsc let me give you some facts re: Kade Chandler Goal kicking = 4th at Dees, same as the Bont Disposals = 11th at Dees, same as JJ marks = 10th at Dees, same as Rankine Score Inv = 7th at Dees, same Milkshake & Logan Morris Fantasy pts = 9th at Dees same as Cam Raynor Tackles = 4th at Dees, better than JJ and Sidebottom Contested Pos = 8th at Dees, same as Bergman, Watson, Fletcher So Kade may not be a Daicos or Langford but he is a very handy sml forward, gut runner and handy around the goals.

Talking about speed Harvey clocked the 5th fastest speed during the game and game high 25 sprints yesterday. He’s fast and has stamina, once he gets on top of the other limitations in his game, he will be hard to stop. I was so excited that he got through to us at pick 6 and top effort @Ted Lasso. I’m dancing TL.👍😁

He will be Fork ‘em, give him a tough pre-season, new coach, new role. He had his best game for Casey on Saturday so with a bit of luck and a finals series at Casey playing on ball role that will help getting him in the right groove.

Well all things aside that was a great game to watch after half time, in the end it should have been a draw. We worked so hard for our goals and nearly won it whereas at times they seemed to score to easily. That third quarter we had the momentum and looked the real deal but not able to sustain it just yet, a lot to look forward to if we play with that level of endeavour. Shame Windsor did his hammy, Culley is a diamond in the rough and all our younger brigade came to the party. Disappointed but proud nonetheless.😁👍

I marked Kozz down for his dainty turn overs and poor marking attempts. Umpiring was very WB oriented and cost us at critical times. Still very proud today.

Just enjoy the game people, it’s a no bits or maybe’s let’s see what the boys can do in the last, our 3rd was brilliant.

Kero has gone backwards over the last 3-5 years, time to give it away before she loses all integrity.

Just the type of game to win heading into the finals, zocalo was that Tom Fullarton’s best game on the Red and blue. Our backline was under siege for a lot of that game. How good is zluker Kentfield and finally all our youngsters had a real dip, go Kolt.!!

Did you speak with Jed larrikin Adams Ghostwriter he looked pretty happy.

Thanks DD some big improvers on the list, some minor growth, some treading water and a few declining ( injury/poor preseason), will be interesting watching the last three games to see who stands up, etc.

After watching him On The Couch with Gazza and Brownie I have warmed to him over the last year or so and been impressed by his confidence and footy intellect. Also as mentioned earlier he commands respect and could step in and fill the void at the club.

There are a couple of posters on DLand that have remained positive throughout the process so I am sticking with them and I believe that they will leave the announcements to our new CEO.
