Are you a bit simple..?

So we could take a Toumpas and leave a Talia and a Fyfe for someone else.

Freeman was pick 10 and he wasn't even in the same draft. -
Good for Howe. He does realise he's not a FA? Collingwood are going to need to find some assets to move, if they're going to acquire Howe, Aish & Treloar. Kennedy & Seedsman won't get it done.

Could possibly be waiting for Melksham to get his arss into gear, go to an internet cafe somewhere in Eastern Europe, print off the contract to sign, scan it for an exorbitant amount and then send it back. -
Not enough. Pies can jog on.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN KENNEDY

I'm gobsmacked. -
It's also that North has pick 15, not pick 25 (which I think is about correct weight), so they don't have the option of offering that. Can only trade what you have or can get your hands on.
-
Incl. Vandenberg upgrade = 2 live picks. Incl. Harmes upgrade = 1 live pick. Might move Toumpas for a half reasonable pick and sit back content to have Treloar, Bugg, Melksham and pick 40ish from this trade period.

Or alternatively maybe St Kilda are being a bit more realistic in not wanting to give up a pick as early as 5 for either of those 2 players, trying to get hold of 2 late-teens-ish picks and keep their top 5 pick? Nah, probably still Dodoro & Essendon...
-
Hilariously bad anaology. Beckham wasn't so much the problem as he was happy to sit back playing long balls, but both of Gerrard and Lampard were alpha-dog attacking CMs for their sides respectively, and the 3 Lions didn't play a decent DM to cover for them at the back. Gerrard & Lampard took turns going on attacking runs, trying to pepper the goals from outside the box, and neither dropping in to cover the other when required, such was their competitive streak and desperation to be seen as the man. This was about ego. Not leadership.

Cos our picks will likely be earlier both years and Bugg is steak knives in any such deal. 2nd rounder would not be involved, it'd be either/either.

I can see us waiting a week because Collingwood want to give us the 2nd rounder they are to receive from St Kilda for Freeman. Fun & games for all.

Probably complicated by Dodoro specifically stating and interpreting that it would be pick 25, as opposed to our presumably deliberate wording of a "2nd round pick" allowing for the event where we downgrade a pick in the 2nd round. -
Why stop there..?
