    He should never expected any more than he got. Whether he was good enough to be in the best 18 or not, he always should have known he was there to protect the kids only, not impede their development by robbing them of the chance to play. We got nothing out of playing him. I think we gave him a chance to prove us wrong; that he did have other facets to his game and could be more versatile than to just play as an average extractor and nothing more. Unfortunately for Magner everyone's first impression proved to be true.

    The rules are complex and verging on comtradictory, but I believe in 2015 alone we've fulfilled our quota of using 2 x 1st round selections in a 4 year period, therefore we can trade our 2017 1st rounder in 2016. I think.

    I was tempted to, but shied away from, referring to Kennedy as a "lesser" version of Kent. I think the difference is marginal, but I like that we are stockpiling multiple options for the same positions - depth and competition.

    Yep Cats built their list on the drafts of 99 & 01 and the Hawks built there's off 01 & 04. Absolutely nail 2 or 3 drafts with 7 or 8 core players and some bookends and you set yourselves up very well Often-missed is the 2006 draft; Selwood & Hawkins.
