  1. Brayden Fowler really impressed me in the limited footage I saw.
  2. Very intresting.. i watched wines on the weekend and i was very impressed! Just remember we could have had Wines, Toumpas and Viney all at once..
  3. I think they want Vickery but his body hasn't held him up the last two years.
  4. Dale Thomas and Mark Lecras yes please! I really think we should have a fair old crack on GWS with some of there kids. hearing rumours Will Hoskin Elliot and Dom Tyson will be looking to come home at years end.
  5. Houli has stints in the midfield as does Conca aswell. I rate Morris and wished we snapped him up when he did the pre season with us but in saying that I hope dean terlich or Matt jones has the same impact this year like he did last year. Vlaustuin also played as an oballer for Northern Knights aswell so can run through the middle. I think Chaplin will be a good inclusion but. But I think we have them coverd there aswell. And yes your right in regarding jack up forward but like I said I reckon our weakness is our midfield. There outside run and carry is great to watch when on a roll. But that's why we recruited Jones, Toumpas and Barry.
  6. I was talking about Ivan Maric.. have him anyday over jamar or spencer. If Rodan retires at years end and sylvia leaves via free agency we must go hard for quality midfielders. Even looking at Gws at poaching a couple. Yes we have viney and toumpas but at zip games. Its going to be our massive weakness as its our only downfall. I didnt think we did that well in really going hard for a couple of midfield depth like trying to chase koby stevens or even trying for a Sam Lonergan who has still plenty to offer. This year we must go for tall midfielders and small forwards in the draft.
  7. Deledio, Cotchin, Martin, Conca, Vlaustuin, Grigg, Dea, Batcherlor, Houli, Maric, Tuck, Foley, Morris plus Sam Lonergan as depth.. thats a pretty formidable midfield.. im actually pretty impressed the way they have built their side up. They have just about every position in their lineup coverd. Dont mind dimma as a coach. Wish we went for him but thats a different story. I can see why its an attractive club to be at. And just to think 3 years ago we were considerd to be more talented and closer to playing finals.
  8. Im guessing you ean the forward line re dawes pedo and Hogan??
  9. Cant play evertone on the list at the same time so some will be rested and others will be playing. im guessing viney, toumpas and kent will be moniterd.
  10. AFL is a joke run by scum of the earth!
  11. Peer pressure and trying to fit into society with fame. That's all it is.
  12. Port look good as does ollie wines aswell.
  13. I thought the same aswell re the bulldogs. I thought there skills were shocking and at one stage there full forward was liam picken playing on dustin fletcher :S Im actually surprise they didn't chase jesse Hogan hard as they were more heavily into jack martin.
  14. Anyone know how his injury is coming along? would be good of the footy club to keep us updated..
  15. Liam Jurrah speaks: I still dream of playing AFL No chance...
  16. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2013-02-14/jones-is-demons-bright-spark Nice little article on Matt Jones. Whats everones thoughts, is he a chance to play this year? how has he been on the training track.
  17. Well done don!! I always hear the eddie mguire and Jeff Kennett come out at all cost to defend there clubs and I always admired that passion. And here I was thinking we are going to just cop it from the media.. suck on that caro!
  18. Guys I know its only volleyball but he has a fair old leap on him!! http://youtu.be/i8oyR7CgA0o
  19. Wow this is massive for the Melbourne football club! about time we start to challenge ourselves to the top sides. even if its recruiting international player if we want to be like the collingwoods and hawthorns then we gotta start acting like one. Good get dees! And well done to Jason taylor aswell don't [censored] straight to business Taylor spotted the a 187cm and 75kg midfield prospect during an AFLNZ Combine in Wellington, where Westrupp topped the 20 metre sprint (2.8 seconds) and vertical leap (80 cm), from roughly 60 participants aged 14 to 18 years old.
