i have just finished the book now. its an amazing read and a good insight into what was happening at the club. scully was a snake and sam stynes knew all along! what an amazing woman she is.

haha ouch!!

when we played against him this year we kept him to 3 goals at 3qtr time. we thought beauty because by then he had been sent off and body language was shitouse and our fullback who is one of the best in the comp completely shut him! the last qtr he exploded and kicked 7 straight. i thought to myself this bloke should be still in the AFL and if he got his [censored] together the ability is still there. needs to trim down a fair bit though.. good on him i say. has been a masterstroke up here in the country. has a long way too go but you get the sense that if he was given a go he would give it his all not stuff up again. talking to a few yarra mates they said his attitude has been pretty first class. but then again yarra have a few drop kicks there..

im half way through it. i must not have got to that part yet.. amazing read its just soo hard to put down! gosh i miss the great jimmy stynes!

stuie stuie stuie... it hasn't clicked for him because he didn't listern to what he was told. stubbon and thought his ego would get away with it. as i stated earlier on was told to trim down yet didn't listern and now it has caught up with him. what kind of attitude is that when your coach says you need to trim down for my game plan and yet walks away in one ear out the other. now i was told by a certain rehabilitaion person at the club about the him needing to trim down. was also told that he lost his [censored] when he was told he wasn't in the leadership group by neeldy. apperently a few home truths were given to beamer and didn't cop it on the chin and go away and work on it. sulked around the club and straight away went to his manager and said shop me around asap! I will bet my left nut Neeldy will be glad to see the back of beamer when he walks out. its his own doing that he is now where he is and i have no symphathy for him. didn't wanna listern to the coach so good riddence from him. i was once a beamer fan but after listerning to all this i was pretty disappointed in him and now he is showing it out on the field and we need to clean that kinda trash out of our footy club!

nooo i dont wanna trade our early picks for mini drafts. its a risk especially with KPP. just focus on get speed and skill in toumpas and mayes!

Jonathon brown mk2?? you know they said that about billy morrison. shocking comparison. yes his skills do need ALOT of work! his kicking for goal is quite woeful. id rather jack martin.

what are peoples thought on jimmy sellar this year? i thought he has had a pretty good year filling in ruck and playing up forward and also in the backline. i hope they give him 2 years because he is still only 23 and you can see he is starting to get confidence in him to relise he can play AFL, something he didn't have at adelaide. i still think his best position is in the backline. just on a side note i caught up with a very close friend of mine from adelaide from sanfl days and we watched the game against gws and he knows sellar really well. james battled depression in his days at the crows and it didn't help that he didn't get much of a support from his father who apperently gave him a spray for not pcking volleyball ( captained australia under 19s) wanted to quit and do his apprenticeship. reckons the best thing he ever did was come to the dees and get out of adelaide. told me for the first time since his jnr days james is enjoing his footy and wants to really make the most of his chances. loves the club and the players and even though he has been at the club for a year he is forever greatful for the second chance loves the club more then he ever did at adelaide during those years at the club.

wouldn't think GC would go for toumpas considering they have jagear o meara coming along now?

i think he kicked 42 goals in 07 but i might be wrong... big strong body that was compared to mark reccuito when he first started. then again so did col sylvia!

does anyone think we actually might trade one of our early picks for the under 17 mini draft or whatever it is. i really do hope we keep our early picks. i haven't seen mayes play but from all the reports im starting to warm to him. imagine toumpas mayes garlett and viney!

we were actually trying to get him across last year aswell. forward mid who is a premership player so atleast he has played in the big games. where did you hear the rumour from?

dont mind joal macdonal i think he has been good for us. adds experience and hardness.

jack grimes last month and a bit has been sensational as a leader. we picked the right choice here and even trenners is finding a bit of form too. good to see tappy and strauss getting games aswell. this will give them lots of confidence come pre season and even bleasey aswell.
