    Even the greats of the game struggle with tag from time to time. Sam Mitchell was tagged out of the game last year by Tom Mitchell and that pretty much determined the result with Sydney winning quite easily. Mitchell has 0 influence. Oliver will struggle with tags from time to time. But he will also have days where he'll win alot more then his opposition opponent.

    How will you know exactly that Clarry will be able to break a tag? He's never been tagged at AFL level to experience if he could or not. Opposition clubs will start to take notice of his dominance around stoppages and then we'll find out where he can break tags. Think your going a bit too early there AF.

    Yet we'll continue to throw him to the wolves and the end result is our defence will leak easy goals. Bit disappointed we didn't push hard for a experienced tall defender like Eric Mckenzie who was on the trade table last year. Personally i think its a huge hole that we have left open. I don't think Frost has ever been more important then what he will this year.

    VitalDread is a Casey official who post on bigfooty a fair bit and this was his run down. Hannan- Really showed class with the footy and broke the lines open, really has elite speed esp coming from a part time footballer Tim Smith: Took some solid marks up forward and kicked 2 goals form memory, played high up the ground Maynard: rotated through the midfield and on the wing, did some nice things, still learnign the overall game Trengove: just do trengove stuff, nothing special was a class above Jetta: Looked really fit after missing out on somany games, took some strong contested marks in defense Kent: played a solid game as a midfielder and forward, nothing too special did appear to havehis hammy worked on a bit Johnstone: hard running midfielder that hassome class with the ball McKenna: didn't spot too much of patty throughout the game Pederson: used in the ruck and down in defense and had a solid hitout, nothing overall special from him just classic pedo game Kennedy: took the game on when he had the ball and was a spark of forward, though he did drift in and out of the game Hulett: Didn't notice much of Hulett, kicked 2 goals i think

    Nope he needs time in the VFL. The 3 JTL games were perfect experience for him. Now id much rather him continue to develop in the VFL and use Pedersen/Spencer as our tall forward.

    I don't understand exactly know what the coaching staff have in mind for Gus When i see Brayshaw and Oliver i see two pure inside midfielders, yet all pre season we have played him up forward. Has had a full pre season and was drafted as a midfielder yet rarely gets minutes in the midfield. Doesn't win alot of the footy at half forward and i just dont see the point of it. Throw him in the middle along with Oliver and let them both work into the game together and start to build a good chemistry.

    Poor game. Harmes and Oscar were horrible. Jones Vince Gawn and Viney were poor. I actually thought Garland was our best defender tonight.
