  1. Don't rate her and pay much attention to her too be honest.
  2. Agree.Still a bit disappointed we traded it for Frost even though I think he will come good we still needed to add more midfield class and depth especially if we are most like going to pick up McCartin... Would have loved Corey Ellis.

Was reading this article and found this bit very interesting... Jack Trengove can make a full recovery from more surgery on his troublesome foot injury Brayshaw plays in the same TAC Cup side as Paul Roos son Tyler, who is eligible for the draft this year. The Sandringham Dragons flanker is an elite runner and seems unlikely to get to the Demons given they may have only three or four national draft picks. But Mahoney said the club was well equipped to deal with the conflict should Tyler become available at a pick that appealed. We have been through it before with (recruiting boss) Todd Viney and Jack Viney and it is also the same way we go about picking father-son selections, he said. We treat them like any other player in the draft pool. If they are highly rated and the player is available at a certain pick, they are the decision you make.
  4. I remember pre 2009 draft everyone was Saying we should take John Butcher at pick 1 because the combination of Watts and Butcher for the next 10 years would set our forward line up..

Watch Collingwood try and absolutely screw brisbane.

Didn't see it coming. Lamumba and beams gone already. Thats two qaulity premiership players after Shaw and Thomas last year. Enjoy Collingwood Mitch Clark.
  7. Lmao 6 years??Port are the third youngest team in the AFL behind GWS and GC. They will be successful side for the next 10 years. I can see a Geelong or Hawthorn like golden years coming up for them.
  8. Roos is not a fan of drafting talls early in the draft apparently.
  9. Always said if we had the chance we should take Petracca and Brayshaw together. Definitely would srt up our midfield for the next 10 yeaes for sure and both would make an instant impact next year.Hopefully Paul Roos was there as Tyler would have been playing.
  10. Absolutely. Bid bodied mid that we desperately need. Would compliment Tyson and Viney for the next 10 years.
  11. Clueless as usual you are Machsy. A pathetic response as always when proven time and time again your out of your depth on the general knowledge of the game. Keep going though me and majority of the posters here get a good laugh out of you. Good luck.
  12. James Strauss can kick it too.. What are you saying? Look I have faith that Salem will eventually become a good player for us. But if its lack of fitness he shouldn't be playing senior footy.
  13. Thats your comeback? He got smashed a couple of times and got up!? Good god what a pathetic and idiotic excuse!Of course he is gonna get smashed is football FFS!!! I have seen Nicholson, Terlich, Riley etc get smashed and put their head over the ball. Not once did I question Salem effort to go in hard. But he has played 11 games for one game where as a half forward he has only managed to get two digits disposals. Fact is he is struggling to win the ball and looks sluggish and cant run out games. Jimmy Toumpas copped it alot more last year then what Salem has showed. Im gonna put it down to lack of Pre Season. But so were Dunstan Billings and Taylor. Fair dinkum Machsy if your rating of a players talent is based on getting crunched and getting back up again then maybe its you that needs all the luck in the world FMD!
  14. Said in the other thread Salem hasn't shown much except kick a match winner against essendon. Other then that he has not shown why he was worthy of pick 9 especially the likes of Luke Dunstan Lewis Taylor were picked later and made huge contribution for their side. He looks so out of depth we have gifted him games when the likes of Jimmy Toumpas were dropped after 1 or 2 games. Yes he missed first half of Pre Season but taylor missed the whole chunk with a broken foot. Toumpas copped it last year. He showed alot more then Salem has done for his first year.
  15. You said last year Luke Dunstan was so overated and we should steer clear from him. Cant take you serious at all when your trying to identify a young players ability after that.
  16. Trelor doesn't like Roos.
  17. Crack the sh its
  18. Said it before Petracca and Brayshaw with hopefully pick 3 and 4 would set our midfield up for the next 10 years. Add Billy stretch to that mix and it would be a super draft for us. The rest of the picks I would use on talls and maybe a small zippy forward.
  19. If Farmer had stayed at the Dees we would have won a flag or atleast got into another Grand Final. Played his best footy with us. Freo snubbed him as soon as he retired. They dont even invite him to their functions at all.

One of my all time favorite players even to this day. How good is it to see this cheeky fella playing in the legends game. Hope he turns it on tonight. I remember that 9 second half goals against Collingwood like yesterday. One of the best half I have ever seen from an individual AFL player! Love ya Wiz!
  21. Im loving the sound of Christian Peccera of whatever his name is. Big solid midfielder typer that Roosy loves and from Beverly Hills aswell. Same club as Roosy.

The problem McDonald has is he needs to know his limitations. Too many times he tries to run around or take an opponent on too much. If its not that its trying to be too cute with his kicking. But unfortunately we dont have the dashing half back flanker with sizzling skills to feed it off too. Haven't had one since Aaron Davey use to play there and set us up.

Anyone reckon James Sellar was actually quite handy when he played in defense for us?
