Any word on Angus?
If that is the case and the FD know it, surely we would be better holding Harmes for one more year?

The 2023 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Now I'm not saying these teams will go for this, just an example. Trade future first, pick 26 and 34 to GC for pick 10. Trade pick 13 and 23 (Grundy compo) to Geelong for 7.

2023 Best and Fairest
Well to clarify, the reason I think they're dumb is that you can't say we are better than them when the outcome proves otherwise. We definitely could be better than them, but we weren't this season and they are holding the cup. I love May's passion and also love him as a player. And just on passion, I am as passionate a supporter as anyone and I am loud and get behind the players every game. Our club has too many mild mannered supporters and I agree with this.

2023 Best and Fairest
Just my view, which I'm entitled to as is Steven May. Coulda, shoulda never won anything. Words mean nothing, got to go get the job done next year. Tbf May is one of the only ones that can genuienly say he played his best in both finals.

2023 Best and Fairest
Dumb comments to make, but he was obviously pretty [censored] and had the red wine lips going! Honestly, if the Pies and their supporters get triggered by this it actually shows how insecure they are. You won, who gives a toss.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I thought someone said Turner could spend another year on the rookie list?

Trade Rumours 2023
I have a feeling we will go hard at the draft this year and I would be comfortable with us trading a first round pick next year to give us three top 15-20 picks this year. I wonder if GC will be happy to swap pick 4 & 5 if we give them an extra pick? Will we package up a few picks to pry pick 7 from Geelong? Can we also get a hold of a pick around 15-20 using our future first? Imagine we end up with: Pick 4 (likely pick 6) - take your pick from McKercher/Duursma/Sanders Pick 7 (likely pick 9 or 10) - Connor O'Sullivan Late teens pick - Windosr/Wilson/Leake/Tholstrup 4th pick - Kynan Brown We can then go hard at trading next season, which may have better options.

Farewell James Jordon
I reckon it will be a 3rd rounder

FREE AGENTS - 2023
I'd be happy if we pick up Riley Bonner as a delisted free agent. No world beater, but would add additional kicking skills and could play at half back and allow us to move a Rivers or Salem more permanently further up the ground.

Welcome to Demonland: Tom Fullarton
I'd still like to see us get another experienced back up ruck. Feel like we may see Tom as a potential forward/ruck best 22 player and allow us to not use JVR in the ruck (much prefer for his career long term). At least with him in we have some level of depth in the key forward stocks and may allow Petty to stay back.

2023 NATIONAL DRAFT ORDER AND SELECTIONS
I thought it was based on years of service for the one club, but you may be right.

2023 NATIONAL DRAFT ORDER AND SELECTIONS
100% agree. Scrap compensation and it will actually promote more player movement, as teams won't be holding off on picking another player due to fears of diluting compensation. I personally think that once a player has been on an AFL list for over 8 years, they should be a free agent for the remainder of their career. So for example, player X chooses to move to another club in their 9th year on a 3 year deal. At the end of that 3 years they can choose to move to another club and still be a free agent. If people feel 8 years is too short then could always start at 10 years and see how that goes and reduce if needed. This made up compensation nonsense is a joke.
