  1. Someone else mentioned that. What a joke. On one hand he is saying he is worth 2 first round picks. He then proceeds to suggest Geelong who don't even have a first round pick this year. Who pays these guys?
  2. He's a bit quicker than Billy. I'd give him a go for a 4th rounder. Can't imagine the chances of getting anyone better at that pick is that high.
  3. Who will be the first player to join the Dees this off-season?
  4. Hannan? He has shown more in one season in the tackling/pressure effort than Watts did in his entire time with us. Plus with another pre-season will only get better. I'm fairly optimistic about what Mitch Hannan could do next season.
  5. I'd take Griffin on a one year deal as a back up. Not Clarke.
  6. If he does look to go to Geelong I would be enquiring on Darcy Lang. Will only be 22 and a former top 15 pick. We need more small forward depth and he could add to that. Averaged 5.4 tackles a game this season which is solid and if he got a good run without injury could compliment our talls. I'd be expecting a bit of a pick upgrade if it was Watts for Lang though.
  7. Fit Viney & Oliver are A graders already. Petracca, Hogan & Lever potential A graders.
  8. Good. We can get him as a free agent next year.
  9. It really seems the club has decided that maybe a real sting is the only thing that could get the best out of Watts now. He will either suck it up or move on. Don't think we really lose here.
  10. Seems fair and reasonable. As long as we don't cave. Adelaide will end up accepting like this as they know he's not signing with another club so what is the point dragging it out?
  11. Wonder if we are looking at Isaac Smith from the Hawks? Almost 29 but would compliment our midfield perfectly as the outside runner for 2-3 years, plus premiership experience. I'd offer up a 2nd round pick for him which the Hawks may bite on seeing as they have to re-juvenate their list. Thoughts?
  12. He might be a bad coach but really I don't see an issue with this. If we were palying them that would be another story haha.
  13. Have a good run with injury and play as a team. That is in the simplest form. They had Martin (every game), Reiwoldt (missed 2), Cotchin (every game), Grigg (every game) & Rance (every game) plus I think a few more but they are the keys. We wouldn't have had too many players play every game!
  14. Agreed. But that was more to do with the middle and forward parts of the ground. Their press through the midfield was abysmal today. Doesn't matter how good a defender is, if the ball keeps coming in you're going to struggle.
  15. Lever played his role today. Nothing more, nothing less. It was a number of other players who lost it for them. He will be a welcome addition if he comes.
  16. I'm happy with it. He sets standards and what he wants a player to put in. The crows have zero top 10 picks and they are in a Grand Final. They've built that on club culture which trumps talent every day of the week.
  17. Modern football. Seems he is gone though. I'd love him to say to Goody, 'I'm not going anywhere and I'm going to work my ass off and help lift this club'. Instead it seems he is content to just move on instead.
  18. Keep being negative if you like. I can feel it on its way. I understand everyone's negativity but I'll be so happy to com on here after we've done it.
  19. Don't forget that last year the Tigers finished below us. It will turn. We have so many talented youngsters with the will to win. Our time is coming.
  20. Don't think it will be an issue if we are contending. The CBA is going up and guys like Lewis, Jones & Vince will be finishing up or retired. They will be replaced by younger players on a lower wage.
