  1. Spencer cant play fwd but Gawn can (a bit) so thats why ive gone him.
  2. more importantly, who are we going to bring in to tag the danger man Scully? Mckenzie?
  3. So maybe: In: Gawn, Dawes, Vince Out: Frost, Toump, Brayshaw Mumford is a big challenge, if Jamar were to go down we would only have part timers. I dont know, this is too hard!
  4. in 30 hours we will know the team.... after 21 pages DL still has not come to any consensus. I think Toump and Brayshaw will come out for Dawes and Vince although I am concerned about us being too tall. Frost and Hogan being mobile and all 3 key fwds being able to apply pressure eases my concerns. If Roosey thinks we are too tall, I really have no idea who he will drop! Dawes or Frost I guess are the only options? God I hope we smash the bejesus out of those A holes!
  5. how much would I have to pay if we pushed the beds together? (sorry couldn't resist!)
  6. the brackets are way more annoying than a minor mis-spelling
  7. Ha! what can I say, I play supercoach hard. people may get hurt
  8. I'm glad im not the only one still feeling rough from saturday's celebrations. I think I better book a ward in ICU if we ever make a GF thanks for the update mate
  9. I agree he was only the best of a bad lot. but good teams drop players when better players come back. itll give us the best chance of winning next week.
  10. Why Dawes? he is a senior pro that leads by example he is out Number 1 forward he was instrumental in our few wins last year he strikes fear into the opposition (I personally dont mind the odd suspension once they are not cheap shots) only player to crack 20 goals last year will take the best defender and ease pressure on hogan shall i go on?
  11. It is tough to pick isn't it? Harder coz of personnel but mainly due to not having a quality second ruck option. Dawes comes in, no doubt in my mind. He was the catalyst behind most of wins last year. Amazing pressure and hardness. If I had to pick it would be Toump and brayshaw out. Both unlucky. Brayshaw especially but he only had 9 touches and is a kid whose played 4 games on the trot. Take it easy with him. He hasn't yet earned being picked ahead of senior pros like Dawes and cross. Only issue could be is this going in too tall?
  12. Anyone that says that win was lucky must have not seen the game. We were clearly dominant over the 4 quarters and were challenged several times and stood up. Able tt being underdone was a poor decision by the suns. No luck involved
  13. Very surprising the hawks fans are booing Clark. I knew there had to be something good about hawks fans
  14. Shaw only got one week for Kent hit Delidio the same - lucky imo
  15. Blease not even named as emergency. You'd think he'd struggle to get a look in with all the outside talent at the cats
  16. Does everyone know something I don't? Clark is being praised for [censored] us over and a couple months later going to a successful team Courageous? I'm going to punch the TV in a second
  17. Yeah the Sydney games stands out. I am still wondering whether this was better or maybe I'm still on a high from yesterday. The Sydney game we got on a massive attacking role and we're not challenged. Yesterday was against a good team that challenged us several times. For some reason it feels like we have more substance and we might actually build something. As opposed to 2010. Agree the list turnover is crazy!
  18. I'm wondering whether this game is the best I've seen us play since 2006. Any thoughts? Sure we had some good wins in 2008-2009 but I don't think I've seen us play as well as a team, tackling, sheparding etc. great balance between attack and defence. Any thoughts? Ps Any minute now my kid will stop crying so I can sleep and stop thinking these deep thoughts
  19. How many teams better than GWS? I'd say everyone aside from st Kilda. 9 wins from 66 games is not real good. I don't expect the same improvement from them that we saw with GC in the 3rd year.
  20. I've always been a massive Garland fan and have been quite defensive with some on here writing him off after an average season last year. It was bloody great to see him back to form, taking on players, getting forward and hitting targets. Not to mention being that flexible defender that plays on talls and smalls.
  21. If we were to win > 12 games this year (unlikely I know) I would think he'd be a Real shout for the Brownlow
  22. I agree. I was more trying to point out that we might not think that same way if he was a dees player. Eg if Salem was in the same psoition as freeman
