2019 Fixture
I’d expect 4 Friday night games at least anzac eve will cause some disruption but will be fine in the years after next i guess we can expect a tougher draw after finishing 5th? Expect to play more finalists twice. Although the league is so tight playing north/port twice versus cats/Sydney May not be easier for example Aside from that much the same as usual. Dons once away. Lots of Saturday’s in the first half of draw and Sunday’s in the second half.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Spoke very well on the Trade Table show: very genuine, said he knew he only wanted to join the demons after he met Goody. Admitted his career has plateaued recently and he needs a change used hibbo and melksham as examples of us developing players from other clubs.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
He is on channel 9 in a few mins. Trade Table show. Try to ignore the hosts!

NAB AFL TRADE RADIO - DAILY UPDATES
Hawks, Pies, Bombers, Tigers etc have all improved their list significantly. Will be tough to even make the 8 next year. We have bolstered our defence but lost a key forward so break even at best. Luckily our list is young and talented so we should see some natural growth. Hopefully the Weed has T Mac or Viney as a training mentor. We need the Weed!! an interesting year awaits

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
Hopefully there is some talls in the draft to grab Otherwise I think playing less tall in the fwd half without Hogan will be the option. Hopefully Weeds continues to develop too.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Lol. Saying one thing means another? of course we all want to win a flag. Keeping your best young players generally helps with that
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Really disappointing to lose Hogan. I reckon he could have become our highest ever goal kicker and dominated the comp for the next 5-7 years. Anyone down playing his value can only be trying to make themselves feel better Not much the club could have done though as he wanted to go home.

24 hours to go - closest to the pin
Neale goes to the lions But hogan stays at the demons. Freo do not offer enough to satisfy a deal KK traded to Melb for late pick an unexpected trade occurs bringing another player to the demons scully does his other ankle tomorrow. You don’t wanna overcompensate when coming back from an injury, rookie error

Rumour File
This is basically Geelong refusing to trade. Interesting to see what happens and how Kelly reacts. Doesn’t seem like a shy chap

Would we take $cully back?
Four year deal for Voldemort. No way hawks do that unless his ankle is ok something fishy goin on
-
Would we take $cully back?
Agree gws are proper [censored]. Hope Cameron is enjoying his 1.4 mil per year while he wins no flags. Not even putting in on field. Bad news is our rivals are stocking up on gws talent and we are not
-
Would we take $cully back?
So Kent and Scully Are worth around the same??! Got it. HAS to be more to this or it is connected to another deal. The hawks will be tough to beat again, those A Holes
-
Would we take $cully back?
This deal makes a mockery of the whole trade system. Should be worth a first rounder. Has an ankle injury but he’ll be fine in 5 months. Why the [censored] would gws not ask for more? And don’t say salary cap as they are holding firm on Shiel. [censored] joke

Would we take $cully back?
The only good news is the GWS are almost finished. Shiel and Scully this year. Kelly next. They will not be the super power we thought
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Let’s hope Hoges is annoyed at Freo not showing him or the club much respect and he signs on with us next year. A trade is look less and less likely. The Lobb deal hasn’t even been done let alone the Neake deal
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Sigh. Don’t know why I bother. But I’ll go again. Of course every club wants to better balance their list. I asked how do you know the club think we are better balanced without hogan. It’s far more likely hogan wants to leave than the club initiated the potential trade And as I said there are no other quality key fwds around to recruit.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
How do you know the club think we are better balanced and structured without him? Guessing? He will likely go home at some point so we are trying to get the best deal for him. Replace him like for like? That’s the whole point, there are no Jesse Hogan’s out there. He is a gun young player that imo opinion will dominate the comp over the next 5 years.

Would we take $cully back?
How the [censored] do the hawks keep bending over the comp?! Mitchell for 14, Scully for 40. Its like there is different rules for them
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
You beauty!!!

Rumour File
How can the hawks possibly get wingard and Scully? They only have pick 16 scully would be an end of first round pick?
-
Rumour File
Wouldn’t want to lose hunt. He value is very low atm and I expect him to bounce back hard.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
JM and MFC should have no issue with keeping hogan for next year. His value will go up as I’d expect him to play a full season and kick 60+ goals. Hogan is a professional and us exploring options which is within his rights to do

So Scully wants to come home now? the little [censored]
