Luckily for Carlton their squad is average. They have very few players to pay big money. Aside from these imports. Only players that are good and in their prime are Cripps and Doherty. So they have a few years to front end contracts before Walsh and McKay etc require big deals. knowing the blues though, they’ll get carried away and done for salary cap breaches.

He was a gun back in 2010. Not sure what happened. any player with trade value left during our most horrible years aside from jones. I think most people would do the same. After putting in 8 years, I don’t begrudge him. People don’t hate rivers etc for leaving.

No doubt if we don’t improve things could go downhill fast. The bombers though have lost the faith of their group from the drugs cheating and have lost their culture. So although we could lose a couple if we don’t improve next year we would still be in a better position than the bombers. We have a lot more youth coming through and havent traded in culture killers like Stringer
