best 22 players injured for round 1: Lever and Hannan. Hannan was dropped a bit last year but I still reckon he is best 22. with guys like Smith ready to come in for Hannan he is not a massive loss The bigger issue for me is are we fit enough as a group/recovered from surgery and ready to go. I am in the camp that thinks we will be sluggish for the first 6 rounds or so and have some disappointing losses

Some thoughts: hore looks promising and will be a solid player in the backline if needed smith looked good as the third tall when we played well - first quarter tigers outplayed for most of the match the Preuss hype will take a hit. Might be a practice match but with round one less then 3 weeks away and 30 odd players in the mix I expect the players will be going in pretty hard. Cant wait to see Tom Sparrow play
