I don't think these camps are long enough to assist with making one mentally tougher. Becoming mentally tough takes time and being subjected to a number of different scenarios over a length of time. I think they're great for bonding and putting someone out of their comfort zone for a couple of days, but can't see a camp this length making one mentally tougher. That said, the worse course I ever did was a conduct after capture course, I think it was around two or three days, still not sure. Arabic music blaring over a loud speaker for 24 hours while being put in stress positions and being woken up as soon as you nodded off. Then stripped naked in a chair and having ladies brought in to laugh at your package. Not much fun really.

I'm not DMMA, but my guess is JKH, Trenners (please prove me wrong) and Garland. Back in 2013 Hunt was described as being an Isaac Smith or Stephen Hill type but had an "awful long way to go to have those dreams realised." I think the comparison isn't too far off the mark, not such an awfully long to way go now though.

I agree. When asked directly about the Kokoda experience, I can't imagine Lewis, or anything other player, saying commeting negative about it. Perhaps only that it was hard work.

Thanks for the training reports WW and the other posters who contributed. Others have said it before but residing interstate we get absolutely so news about the MFC (or any other eastern states based teams), and if it weren't for your contributions we'd have no idea how the team was going. Unfortunately some do spoil the threads with their petty bickering but I've decided not to reply or get involved. Schoolyard bullies love the response they get from their victims. I'd ask other posters to treat them as such and not reply, eventually they will move on. Thanks again for the training reports, brilliant.

I agree dr. And out of that group I think Petracca is going to explode. Might slow towards the end of the season but we'll already have 10 wins half way through the season so it's all good.

Have you seen Narcos? I just finished season two and really enjoyed it. Quarry was another favourite of mine, I thought Logan Marshall-Green was fantastic.
