I agree this could be the case, I also think some of the posters who claim to have inside knowledge are just narcissistic.

I've been advised that we are deep into negotiations with Rockliff's management and if he was to switch clubs it will be to us. The only issue we have is his poor attitude so we are putting some work into assessing whether or not he will be a good fit in our team going forwards. This is pretty much how it's done. Start confident and work a little something in there so when he doesn't come you have an out as to why the trade didn't happen.
