  1. I agree, probably just missed out when injured pre-season and we already had Mitch as a leader in the forward line.
  2. Sometimes I read, then reread then I try again. And sometimes I just give up. What are you trying to say? Perhaps, So good to see you're happy. New support for Dunn? Particularly when you used to chortle. But I am only guessing. Edit: Or, So good to see your happy. New support for Dunn. When you used to chortle? Happy = smile or nappy? New support for Dunn = Athletic support? Then a question about past chortling. So it could be , So good to see your nappy. New athletic support for Dunn. When did you last chortle?
  3. Tom [censored] Edit: That's fantastic. Sometimes you want to push the edges, cue jump, J walk I wanted to say the unsay able and I have been edited, well done.
  4. N Jones or G Ablett & C Judd have all been doubles at some time for Voldemort
  5. Like Rod Grinter, Martin Pike, Dean Chiron, Anthony Ingerson, Brock McLean and Rod Owen?
  6. Yes I can see that. What about Snape and Sticks Kernahan? Or is it just the mullett?
  7. I wonder,if Watts was a bit crook, like Fitzpatrick.
  8. All very well but what do you really think? Now don't hold back, let it rip. Edit;- I made bold several of PMans statements.
  9. "The ox is slow but the earth is patient." Chines proverb. Recent Mick Malthouse
  10. I think the Big H has an unspecified back problem 426. Wouldn't mind drafting that Malfoy kid seems to have a fair bit of mongrel about him. Also heard Snape may be unrestricted free agent, he has real attitude. Then they may have to call us the Mighty Dementors.
  11. This had me go to Google Translate. Oh the misspent adulthood. I have been Rowlinged.
  12. I concur. Edit:- Sorry I meant prorsus consetio
  13. I am not an apologist for Jack Watts. His game on the weekend was unacceptable to me. What I have been arguing is that we supporters do not know of any extenuating circumstances or particular roles given. The coach may accept his output, I wouldn't but I don't know the particulars of Watts' role. Based on what I saw I would drop him and pick Salem, but there may be reasons behind the scenes. PS: We all seem grumpier after a loss.
  14. You wish. More a case of reductio ad absurdum.
  15. My reference was in relation to the selection committee, and if they pick Watts ie-What does that tell us about their decision to pick him? You most certainly can be disappointed but I did not think that applied to my question. So if he is in the side next week what do you conclude? "wyl. disappointment" So I stand by what I said "Don't think you can actually conclude disappointment, but I share your frustration" Edit:- context error in quote fixed.
  16. So if that is the case he should be dropped. Selection this week will be interesting.
  17. Don't think you can actually conclude disappointment, but I share your frustration.
  18. I agree, I would rather have two lead to the right place than no one.
  19. Leaders are. No need for a group or a title, Dawes leads. Like Hodge did at Hawthorn, he just led.
  20. So if he is in the side next week what do you conclude?
  21. I made no such comment. What I said was we should compare Watts to players like Flower or Keith Greig. Players with light builds speed, skill and bravery. I would like to think that is the type of player that Watts can become. He will never be a Wayne Carey or Travis Cloke type. You may notice that Robert Flower is listed as my favorite player. It is a dream of mine that Jack Watts could emulate such a champion. He is nowhere near that at the moment.
  22. Let's see what Roos does. If he drops him, he is not doing as told. Or he is carrying an injury. If he is in the side next week, he probably is doing as requested.
