The Run Home
Scott - We had the flu and covid and a tummy bug but we're not making excuses because we've been loading and Tom Stewart was missing and Selwood was scared of Viney and May is a bully and Max is too tall and I won't mention Oliver and Petracca are too good. The quarters are too long which isn't fair and we only got double the frees! I mean what are the AFL thinking, we are Geelong where is our new training facility and home ground advantage? It's a conspiracy! But no excuses from me.

In Season - Loading/Periodisation: Put your conjecture here.
My recollection is that Barassi talked about loading at North. And it probably goes back further than that. It is not a new thing, it is real and is done in many sports.

Bailey Smith is the New Story
Some MFC private school ratbags. Jack Viney Ed Langdon Adam Tomlinson James Jordan Jayden Hunt Harry Petty Kate Chandler Mitch Brown What a bunch of trouble makers. Oh and Steven May.

Bailey Smith is the New Story
There I was agreeing with much of what you said and then you reveal the chip on your shoulder. "Private school types". You need to get over your misconception of private school types. If I was prepared to waste more time I believe I could establish a case for ratbag public and private school types. Equally, fine young men and natural leaders from both camps.

Low Attendance
We have the best game in the world. Why I don't go to AFL matches. (I regularly go to local matches) Flashing lights! How does that improve the spectacle? I even have trouble with that on the TV Loud music! In breaks in play I like to talk to people not stick my fingers in my ears. Admittedly there is also the 6 hours of driving but that is bearable. So I pay my membership to support the team I love, but I cannot subject myself to pointless flashing lights and pounding music. It ruins a pleasurable experience.

Should take the media pressure of us.

Steven May Suspended by the Club
What's that noise? It's the media scuffle leaving the MFC racing to Footscay. Apparently been a crash with another grand finalist. Oh the blood-lust!

Jake Melksham to miss Round 13

Jake Melksham to miss Round 13
I don't know what you think May said, but in Gawn's press conference he said that the Grand Final comment in the media was not true.

Hypothetical Victorian Team 2022
First thought is no Steven May. Secondly why have non MFC players. Then I thought they have to be born in Vic. Shame I think I missed the point 😅

NON-MFC: Round 11, 2022
I believe the umpires are the arbiters of time. The time keepers start and stop the clock and blow the siren. The umpires signal the end of the game after they hear the siren. Probably a fifty as is did delay play. We were told to play to the umpires whistle not the siren or anything else.

Naughty to use quotation marks here. Who are you quoting? My guess is yourself.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
I've been calling him plugger for years. Perish the thought of reusing nicknames. Maybe we could call him Macca, that would be original 🤔

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
Thanks for that. Nice of you to ignore the premise. Perhaps you would like a forward line of players over 2metres tall. The real point is you don't need to have 2metre + forwards to have a successful side.

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
Don't bomb it in. You play to your strengths. And most of them can take a mark. So if Melbourne are the best defensive side how would we man up? We could cover 2 or 3 but the others would cut us up. It is about quality not height.

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
I don't care how tall a forward is. I couldn't care if they were all under 190cm. Kicking a winning score is the aim, made easier by a tight defence. What about a forward line with Charlie Cameron, Dustin Martin, Toby Greene, Christian Petracca, Willi Rioli and Bayley Fritch. How would the average defence handle that? You don't need to be tall to be a good forward.
