I believe the umpires are the arbiters of time. The time keepers start and stop the clock and blow the siren. The umpires signal the end of the game after they hear the siren. Probably a fifty as is did delay play. We were told to play to the umpires whistle not the siren or anything else.

Don't bomb it in. You play to your strengths. And most of them can take a mark. So if Melbourne are the best defensive side how would we man up? We could cover 2 or 3 but the others would cut us up. It is about quality not height.

I don't care how tall a forward is. I couldn't care if they were all under 190cm. Kicking a winning score is the aim, made easier by a tight defence. What about a forward line with Charlie Cameron, Dustin Martin, Toby Greene, Christian Petracca, Willi Rioli and Bayley Fritch. How would the average defence handle that? You don't need to be tall to be a good forward.

What other kind of marks are there? Or does it mean kicks kicked within the forward 50?

I had a chat to the umpires at 1/4 time at the local footy today. I complimented them on a good job. Then I said even when I disagreed with them they were probably right. They laughed and said I probably put the mozz on them. It's a tough job, they get it right most of the time, but that free kick late in the 3rd, what were they thinking? We'd be stuffed without them. Thanks umpires.
