  1. Pederson was nowhere near as useful as Dawes today. I can't believe I have read that. Pedo was serviceable and did ok, but Dawes creates more if a contest and gets in better positions. We missed him today
  2. aka Sir Lunchalot wasn't he? Before he replaced Dean Banks on 3AW he was a guest of the program. Pretty sure he is a Dees supporter.
  3. Far too early to start saying who we are better than in the comp at Round 4. I will say this though, we have proven that if we bring intensity and 2 way running for 4 quarters, we are a very competitive outfit and I feel as though we can take it up to any side. The next three weeks will be a good indication of where we are at. I do feel like we are a chance against any side at the moment though, as long as we bring the intensity and daring game we have in Rd 1 and 4 and for a hald in Rd 2. It s a feeling that I can't remember having since 2007. From 98-2007 under Danners, I also went to games with the belief we were a chance. I believe Rosy has got us to a level that if a Top 4 side is off 10% we can pinch a win. At this stage I expect 9-11 wins. However, we have still only beaten sides that we beat in the last three years. It'd be nice to beat someone in the next three weeks to gauge where we are at.
  4. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2012-09-27/temper-trap-keen-dees-supporters- Renowned musicians The Temper Trap are keen Dees supporters.
  5. Don't understand why he need a thirty metre run up from 20 out almost dead in front Vs the crows. He has a nice kicking action when he is kicking from CHF. He only needs a few steps to dob a set shot. Some players, like Hogan, change their routine of kicking when in front of goal. There is no need to. Pick a landmark behind the goals and kick it as if you were passing to the landmark.
  6. Nick Maxwell (Who is part of the MRP) on Gameday yesterday reckons that Vince was in "No Trouble" for his bump on Sloane. Does anyone know what time the MRP releases its findings for the round. Sometime this afternoon isnt it?
  7. what and Ro Bail would kick goals would he? The bloke shanks every shot on goal he has ever had at AFL level. He has had years to prove his worth and continually fails. Great VFL player
  8. Well Sloane was fine so that's good. I reckon under the new system he will cop a fine
  9. I doubt we will ever wear that red one.
  10. I now hate Walsh. That is a pathetic way to talk about an opposition player. The commentators praised Vince all game. He was tough, he tackled hard and upset that acting, sooking [censored] Dangerfield. I hope the media focus on Dangerfields constant diving and pretending that he had been hit in the head. That's the bigger issue
  11. I think that we are doing a bit this year praha. Its an Anzac even before the holiday, night game etc. I think a big hoo haa will be made. I know we did a few years back when we would play Sydney and Barrass would present a trophy etc. FWIW I like the jumper. Understated. Not too in your face. Although, generally speaking i believe the southern cross is pretty bogan
  12. Have not seen it posted here yet, but anyone come across this? https://thedemonshop.shopdesq.com/anzac-guernsey-pre-sale-1
  13. I eat raw nuts and dried fruit (sultanas, goji berries, cranberries) in a bowl with honey and coconut milk. If i have time I smash the nuts and cover in honey and cinnamon and place in an oven to get a crunchy cluster type cereal. Although not strictly paleo, you can replace regular pasta with rice pasta (rice is controversial among people following paleo). Or ypu can make zucchini noodles. Pizza is tougher, if you are like me and allow yourself rice, you can use rice flour to make a nice glueten free dough. Otherwise you can use almond flour. There are a stack of paleo pizza recipes online. have a look.
  14. Mitch Clark reminds me a lot of Wayne Carey.
  15. Clap clap clap. Someone calling it as it is!
  16. Funnily enough there are a lot of ex Melbourne people working at Hawthorn, reckon they knew what really went on? you bet ya...reckon the word went round the Hwwks, I reckon you are on to it
  17. Anyone that thinkls they said "how's the depression going" is way off and that's not a basis for sledging someone...but a line such as "met selwoods missus yet mate?, she goes alright" would probably ruffle the feathers and be more on point. suck it up Clarky, exposure is nigh
  18. So in other words, Frawley told his new teamates why Mitch left Melbourne and what he did (I have been silenced here before so won't divulge more) and they had a crack at him for exaggerating his depression. I said the last time this came up, the truth is out there and it will surface and Clark will look like a [censored]. Point is, because he used depression, the media are treading carefully around the issue. It's pathetic
  19. I have been banging on a lot this summer about the match day experience. I thought yesterday was spot on. Superb. The bells tolling was sensational and really got me going. Hats off MFC. I don't mean to be negative, coz yesterday was about as perfect a day at the footy as I have in years, but I thought the Robbie Flower thing coulda been done a little better. Could hardly hear robbo interviewing brad flower and it was a pretty rushed video presentation. But glad we honoured him and did something to recognise the greatest MFC player ever
  20. Bloke can't bulk up coz he is a vegetarian. Stop eating bananas and get some meat in ya
  21. our players simply arn't overly passionate. I reckon their belief isn't the same as yours
  22. I will be honest, I am worried. Our overuse of the ball and constant desire to handball backwards is not a great game plan. We [censored] our pants under pressure. We rack up a lot of possession around the back half because we overuse the footy. I like the injection of Garlett and H but I see very little from a number of players that have been on the list long enough now (Watts, Toump, Matt Jones). I can't see a drastic improvement on the horizon. Happy to be proven wrong tho
