I feel like our club has been hijacked by people who dont really give a stuff about the Melbourne Football Club. They might care about filling their pockets and succeeding at establsihinhg a good business, but they arnt invested in the club like us supporters. I find Roos' comments offensive, destructive and unproductive. Does he want us just to stop caring and not show up anymore?

I will go coz it's what my dad and I have done together for 30 years. I am also a complete sucker for pain, upset and disappointment. I love the club and could never give up on them. I often wish I could. So I will be amongst the 500 people there

Spot on. It makes me angry, and I know that a lot of people say it's a non issue, move on, but I really wish we had some spine on this issue and stood up to the afl. The white jumper dilutes our brand and every time I see a kid in the white jumper at games I cringe. That's not Melbourne, it's not the representation of what I am proud of. Our all red clash is perfectly acceptable and was used for years without issue. We were one of the first to accommodate the AFL and networks by using an alternate strip. I guess that's why we get pushed around on the issue.

If you had any doubt that the AFL rules for some and rules for others and literally make this clash jumper crap up as they go, flick on foxtel ch. 503 and look at the orange vs red . No white shorts even for either side. Add in the red seating at the stadium and you literally have a blur of red/orange. Garbage rule

Ben Brown flogged us last time if i recall correctly. Pretty sure it was a breakout game for him. Fitzy looks like the ideal match up for him. For that reason, I would bring him in. If Salem is fit and ready then bring him in..not sure he has done enough reserves work yet though.

I know it was lead by previous Admin. However, I do recall that we had a presence this year at the Chinese New Year event in Lt Bourke Street. The above article mentions that our game will also be broadcast in Mandarin. Does anyone know whether the MFC are still looking at the Chinese market and/or whether in addition to our game being broadcast in Mandarin, we will be doing anything like Port this weekend?

Grimes is a yard off the pace. His disposal is so poor. I don't think he has a place anymore. Michie adds nothing. So I think both can be replaced. I also am worried about Dom Tyson. Not suggesting we drop him. But his awareness and reluctance to release the ball and use the 1st option is costing us. He also does some pretty handy work. He must improve this aspect of his game though. He is constantly getting caught With the ball.

I was a massive fan of Goodes in his younger days but since about 5 or 6 years ago I started to hate him. Couldn't give a stuff about his 'race'.. had nothing to do with it...it was all apart how he put cheap hits on people, slid in with his feet, hit blokes off the ball (add to the fact that he kept getting Swans treatment at the Tribunal). Then he started carrying on like a pork chop during games, acting for frees, staging etc. If that alone wasn't bad enough, the smug look he would have on his face after foxing for a free kick and getting it paid as if he knew he had cheated the ump was the final straw for me. This behaviour was pointed out by the mediua throughhout the time, however, they all now seem to forget and think people boo him coz of his race? People boo him coz they don't like his attitude and the way he plays the game.
