On a different note see Bomba Thompson is the only coach not to forsake his development allowance to support the coaches association. Pretty mean spirited I would have thought. Not sure I want him at the club as seems likely.

I am in agreement with others who believe that Frawley was all stitched up by another club very early on and has just been going through the motions all season. Wouldn't be surprised that he suddenly finds form next year. It's almost like he is showing us his middle finger. Contemptible.

The sad thing is there is no player at the club that we would be devastated to lose ( possible exception of Hogan who hasn't played yet.) Our best are mediocre and there is no one to make you excited to go to the footy and see. Even Howe doesn't take hangers any more. We desperately need flare and dash not only for the fans but it lifts the team as well.

I'll only believe it when Purple reports it.

Not sure of the specifics but I think after Sundays debacle radical reconstructive surgery is scheduled.

I think the loss of Mitch Clark needs to be factored in. His departure was due to exceptional circumstances and as such should be covered by the spirit of the rule.

In a way we're stuffed if Chip doesn't go and there is no priority pick. Really hope he does after Sundays effort ( or lack there of ).

This we don't deserve it thing irritates me - the supporters do deserve it. We have a right to follow a team that is reasonable to watch and competitive. The supporters didn't make the mistakes in recruiting and development so it is a specious argument to claim that we as a group should be made to suffer. The AFL has an obligation to ensure that each clubs members get a reasonable bang for our buck. Very few could argue that this has happened, not just for 1 year, but for 8 years now.
