Good to see the Toump sticking fat. Shows some decent commitment and character. Yet to see the best of him. Well done Jimmy.

Thanks Ox for the spell check. Wasn't sure which way to there. Agree it's a classic.

Collingwood traditionally want everything for nothing such is their arrogance. They'll never give up Beams.

See old Purple Helmut is at it again echoing the prevailing opinion and making it his own. Never had an original thought. Make an excellent politician.

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
chook fowler replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
It is interesting watching Bomba Thompson and Roos on 360. Something is brewing there. Bomba said that he doesn't have a role when Hird returns and he is always upbeat about The Dees performance, actually making excuses for yesterday's performance. You get the impression he really wants to work with Roos next year. -
Players to target at the end of the year

Liam Jones - Nooooooo -
Think the playing group have Maynards allergy to work.

Over it now. Whatever.

The dees supporter from the Dobie Gillis show would have to be Chatsworth Osborne Jnr
-
Stan Alves always comes across as bitter about the Dees and will take every opportunity to stick the boot in. Not sure what happened but I doubt he has ever been close to the club post footy.
-
Would prefer he concentrated his energy on improving kicking and decision making. 3 consecutive out of bounds on the full followed by a horrible turnover is going to dent your credibility.

Roos' Post game press conference

I have no problem with the term them - you become included by performing and effort. -
Viney I'm sure is tired from bearing too much responsibility for a second year player. He needs to be supported in every possible way. The football dept would be aware of this and I trust their judgement over posters on this forum about the best way of managing him. As for gifting players like Nicholson farewell games - absurd.
-
I applaud your creative thinking in pulling a positive out of the cess pool. However it means nothing when you think they were 3 men down and couldn't rotate for the second half. And we were playing on our home ground FFS.

Pederson has had a much better year than Dawes. At least he is more mobile and can take a mark. Kicked 3 for Casey. It would be a good statement to drop him.

You've got to be joking. No wonder we're in the shite. It always comes back to list management. -
Michie has shown enough. Not convinced about Riley - hard at it but a poor decision maker, will need another year to be sure. Don't think Barry will make it. Grimes won't be moved on but may well lose the captaincy to concentrate on his footy. Dawes needs to lift big time - everyone bemoans the poor delivery to him but his lack of tackling effort today was abysmal. No excuse for that.

interesting to listen to Tom McDonalds interview. Rarely seen a more disconsolate player. Said we had gone backwards since the beginning of the season - quite an admission. In a perverse way it was good to see the hurt.

You can't coach without players with decent skills. I defy anyone to get more out of that lot. Most are a lost cause.

It's unbelievable how many run back into traffic after receiving the ball. Maybe they all need a GPS.

Good tactic not to talk. In all honesty what could he say that hasn't been said. He's marked the cards of who's to go so no point in flogging a dead horse. Silence can be golden. -
Riley - runs in circles Jetta - did well considering Maxxy - continues to improve Frawley - pick 4 please M Jones - last chance gone Kent - talented but dumb Watts - frustrating as hell Barry - won't make it Dawes - slow and lethargic
