Could not imagine Cameron Bruce as a successful senior coach. Never came across as someone with much fire in the belly. A great runner but would rival Grimes for kicking out on the full.

Think Col would be better off in a Skoda.

The tank is definitely on. There is no way we will lose against the Giants - they have put the cue in the rack. You would have to think Cameron is gone and we must be in the box seat. Interesting times ahead.

Heard Ben Allen from the Dockers say how unfit Sylvia was especially running. Between the lines he was astounded that a player could come from another club in such condition. No wonder we have been a basket case. Shows how amateurish our previous football department and admin have been. Also heard Cale Morton say he couldn't believe the difference in training standards between the Dees and West Coast. A lot of our past conditioning staff should hang there heads in shame. Have never been a Neeld fan but he was on a hiding to nothing taking over the rabble that we were.

Much happier to trust the footy dept to make these sort of decisions these days. If they think he will have something to offer so be it.Roos and the other ex-Swans will know exactly what he could bring to the table.

PJ is crucial - Roos reiterated the other night that it was his relentless pursuit of him that made him come to the Dees. That's the sort of attitude and focus we need on and off the field.

The pleasing thing re Roos re-signing is the demonstration of confidence in the clubs structure and that he now has emotionally connected and will be a long term presence. No way would he have committed if the hierarchy is dysfunctional. It looks like PJ will be around longer as well - again he would not stay if it was going to damage his brand. All in all it looks like we finally have got our shite together.

I don't think anybody is surprised but nonetheless it's nice to know its a done deal.

History would suggest that you will do as well with picks 4 - 7 as 1&2 anyway - if not better.
