It could work out OK if the Dangerfield thing falls through. Pick 2 & 3 in the draft could snare Petracca and Brayshaw or allow us to target Cameron. Plenty of other fish in the sea. As for Goodwin - Meh.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM FROST

Mitch Robinson and Toby Greene would be good on the town together. -
Would be equally happy with Tex.

The plot thickens. This is entertaining!

Don't think Nostradamus could have predicted this turn of events. Can't see how it reflects badly on Roos. Good coaches seem quite thin on the ground. It may work out that we can make a play for Clarkson when Roos finishes. It's the wort of challenge PJ would love. Not sure where it leaves The Dangerfield situation. If he was agitating for change it would be difficult for him to walk now.

I know where I'd like him to go. And he can take Clark with him.
-
I'm sure it's all about a desperate attempt to retain Danger and Tex. If they go they're screwed and it seems there was some discontent with the coach. It's amazing how much power the players have now with free agency. Not necessarily a good thing.

Yes please -
Feel sad to see Blease go because at his best he is an exciting talent. Must admit his last 2 games for us were stinkers and he was given adequate time and opportunity. Can't see him making it elsewhere, just doesn't have the work effort required to run both ways.
-
leaving aside his mental health, attitudinal and behavioural issues the guy has played no football for nearly 3 years. Big call to say he could resume where he left off.
-
I have no doubt that Clarks behaviour has been dishonourable and duplicitous and as such he would not be cooperating with us in any way. However Jackson and Roos are master strategists and will see his defection as an opportunity. Reading between the lines I think they view Clark as too big a risk and as such were only willing to give him a very basic contract. We will do well out of this situation but that doesn't stop me from having nothing but contempt for the way Clark as treated us.
-
Couldn't blame him for going for the sort of money being suggested. Can blame him for the [censored] about waiting to see the direction of the club etc and then playing lazy football looking suspiciously like avoiding injury. He has never shown any leadership qualities and pick 3 will be a great result for us.

We should insist on a happy ending.

Better analogy.

Pathetic comment

Chip must be pleased the Clark situation has taken the heat off him.

This whole fiasco fills me with disgust. Depression is no excuse for manipulation, lack of integrity and plain bad behaviour. Collingwood are no better for being a party to it.
-
I don't think the draft goes very deep. May well not get much for pick 9
-
Massive overs, essentially 3 players for one. Can't see us putting all our eggs in one basket like that. Also concerned re Dangerfields long term viability. Burst players like him are notorious for having major hamstring issues. Be upset to essentially give away Toump for nix before he has a chance.

Get his prophylactic knee recons done now.

The thing about Wines is that he had a hard, ready to go body at 19. Makes a huge difference -, and unusual at that age. Surely the recruiters will have that firmly n mind surely.
