How is Hunt going KC?
-
To my horror I left off Robbie Flowers name - probably because I still can't believe he is gone.
-
Just saw his talk to the boys - must admit there were more tears than smiles on my face. What a man. So proud our club has been graced by the Rev and Stynes.
-
Neeld, Prendergast and Schwab - now there's an A team.

A bright spot has to be the development of Max King and ANB. Max is a tall that can kick and score goals, a rarity. He maybe 2 years off but well worth persevering with. ANB has done nothing wrong and plenty right and will be a great addition to our midfield and in combination with Viney aand Brayshaw gives plenty of grunt.

That says it all.

totally agree we waste a lot of energy by running to the wrong position and either having to backtrack or chase.

Not totally, but the fact remains that a clubs success begins with the president and the board, likewise its failure. -
With Brisbanes performance today I think we can lay claim to being the worst team in the company and looking down the barrel of another wooden spoon. The Suns are the only other contenders.

That's true but I remember Barassi and Jeans both saying the first priority in rebuilding your club is getting the Board right and by implication they must rake responsibility when the ship is sinking. Whatever you may think about Kennet a lot of Hawthorns current success is down to him, especially their off field performance with membership numbers etc. -

Because I believe what Kennet says is true. I believe in the football Dept, the CEO but I wonder about the boards performance. Something within the organisation is still not right. -

BBO and Biffen are in charge of the activities -
Maybe but they are not giving nearly enough for senior players. I'm also angry the way Dawes shot off his moth before the game and backed it up with an insipid substandard performance. Talk is cheap and that was a perfect example.

Dawes - counting his money Lamumba - has given up
-
Dawes must feel pretty silly, shooting off his mouth the way he did before the game and then serving up that swill. He should be dropped to Casey seconds for an ego realignment

What about the president - is he a deaf/mute? -

Love watching the Dons fans going apoplectic as a result of pretty ordinary umpiring. Couldn't happen to a nicer pack of scumbags

THE SAGA CONTINUES - WADA APPEALS
chook fowler replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
The obvious difference is that this program was put in place by the players employer with all the reassurances that it was above board. There would have been a lot of implied pressure to conform and it would take a very independent minded and strong personality to resist. The culprits here are the clubs hierarchy and not the players and it is they who should be pursued by WADA and Worksafe. I wonder if there has been any precedent for this world wide - if not WADA may be wanting to send a strong message by pursuing this case.
