The danger players for us to give plenty of attention to for the Saints are Armitage, Stephen, Riewoldt and Bruce. They have 2 of the best mids in the comp who potentially could tear us apart. I'm glad that little rodent Schneider isn't playing because he can be difficult to contain. I reckon Vince will go to Armitage and McDonald to Riewoldt. We need to hurt them with strong tackling that's why I believe Reilly will get a game, and probably not as sub, who I believe will be ANB. If Terlich gets picked ahead of Grimes I think Jack can start packing his bags. The bench for me should be Grimes, Riley, Stretch and ANB ( sub )

Rapt to see Garland getting some overdue recognition. He has the odd bad game but overall has been a good servant of the club. With regards to ANB, I can't see how his position is any different to Stretch or Brayshaw who already have debuted. While there should be no hurry if he's ready, he's ready and sometimes giving a kid a sniff of the big time is an important part of their development. Happy to trust the Football dept to make the call.

The best part for me was the dominance of our midfield - a long time since that has happened. I think a lot of credit for that must go to big Maxxy. Vince and Jones were superb and Viney, Cross and Brayshaw offered great support. I think Tyson will come back in next week better for his rest, so I believe there was a lot of good to be taken from the game.

Really interesting to see Tommy Mac on the couch. He was seething and very dirty on himself for being beaten. Good to see.

I bet Fitz and Toumpas keep their places. Fitz killed White and kicked a nice goal. I think you have to overlook his brain fade. Toumpas showed some good signs in the second half.

Agree that Garlett needs to be in the game for more than 2 minutes. I'm not sure what sort of statement Lamumba made.

Don't think we would have had as many turnovers. Both are good users of the ball and have some toe that others such as Newton lack.

I think next week against the Saints would be a good match to debut ANB, especially as Vanders will be missing. Tyson must come in, and I would like to see Grimes back. Out: Vanders, M Jones and Newton
