As regards giving players a send-off game: the AFL is a ruthless business. At present it looks like our club has made a major stuff up in recruiting Billings, McAdam and Fullerton. Maybe Luker. And we have to 'carry' all three/four for another year. Hopefully they'll make me eat my words Added to this we will have JS on our list for the foreseeable future (see W Rioli). My 'doom and gloom' outlook extends to next year and beyond. Other than JvR, Caleb and ? I can't see any of our current players getting any better. MJ our only real hope at Casey. Some dead wood will go and hopefully JT and his mob have learnt not to recruit more dead wood.
