how dumb are the media, they try to drum up a story because they have no idea where he is!

Geez, Ben Cousins might be stupid, but this is the media at its very worst.

The innuendo is staggering ... of course the woman would have to be "mysterious", "blonde", "leggy", and "always have men coming and going from her place".

The media are an easy target and deservedly so. But they only survive a populous willing to participate in the vacuous lives of celebrities. For the life of me I cant work out why so many people buy New Idea, Who, Women's Day to fill up on dishonest slop about Britney, Paris, Diana and other royals who have nothing to do with them. What do these melonheads get out of that braindead bile?

The media two faced criticism of the ugly paparazzi is countered by the people who buy these gutter publications that funds them.

Absolutely right. Just how ridiculous is this whole Ben Cousins thing going to get? I really feel for his family, having to put up with all this attention and crap from "The Media." All that should happen now is that Ben undergoes treatment for as long as necessary to remove his biological and emotional need to take drugs.

He is a fantastic player and obviously very committed once he sets his mind to achieving something (as he showed during his Brownlow year). I really hope to see him back in Australia and taking part in the game he loves - in whatever capacity - before too long,

Fact is Chook that he invites controversy and publicity wherever he goes. Here's a report on the sort of treatment he's been getting while undergoing rehab (Cutting edge rehab for ex-AFL star) where all good Eagles go - to the Hotel California.
