I agree with this and would like to see it happen, however Geelong may not want to give up that much for johnstone

Geelong don't need TJ, so why would they give up thier first draft pick plus a very promising player for him?

would be crazy to hand geelong a quality midfielder to help them become even better in return for a middy that is not in geelongs elite midfield wouldnt it??

If it was gonna happen it would be simply a straight swap. Geelong wouldn't throw in anything extra. Prismall would have played most of the year had he not got injured - he was ahead of Selwood early in the year. Given opportunity (which he might not get at Geelong) he will be a gun. He's got 6-7 years on Johnstone which is why a pick would not be thrown in, especially a first round pick.

We won't be vying with the Cats for a flag in the next 2 years, then TJ will be 30.

We must get all the quality picks we can muster this year & next to compliment our sub 23 year olds.

forget BP. I know his family. Has been told he is going nowhere and is contracted for 2008. Will be a Cat next year

correct as i said in another post... i spoke to prismal today and he sounded pretty sure he was not going anywhere next year

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft.     Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week. WAYNE RUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS No Ollie, Chin, Riv today, but Rick & Spargs turned up and McDonald was there in casual attire.
