Yes.

Overall not a good day in the history of the MFC

the M just makes it look retarded...

fark we suck at this game...

could not agree more. lets keep the normal logo or change it to the 80's one, or even the MFC one like Carlton. The new one is s*** and boring. Anyway, if we are changing anything, it should be the alternative strip and that should be the 80's heritage jumper IMO

It's [censored] weak. One of the strongest points of the MFC marketing is our current logo which has been used very well over the past 12-15 years since first unveiled. To change it now would be ridiculous. Especially for that real beige number !!

Posted

Is this a joke? This is not confirmed is it?

Your telling me this logo that looks like a 10 year old with any computer skills could do is our new logo?

And so this is taking over the demon with the m over the top and melbourne fc to the side?

Posted

so they are trying to put that new logo to replace the logo in my sig?

Posted

i understand what angle they're going for... 150th year, looking for a more traditional feel to the logo, as you'd see with the carlton logo, or something like that... it just doesn't work all that well i'm afraid...

Agree totally!! If Advisory Panel is intended to have any meaningfull input surely things such as the logo and importance of MFC logos remaining red & blue would be included on feedback sought. Perhaps Judd has seen the 2007 logos gone to B & W and is why going for Pies!!

if this goes ahead i will rate this higher in dissapointment than not getting judd! that looks so plain and dull its not funny at all!

I like it, straight to the point

Yeah, I think its probably a good time for a new logo(150th yr and all), and they've obviously tried to do something more minimalistic and traditional like the Carlton or Geelong ones, which is fine, but that... that just screams "NOTHING".

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
