any chance the commentators could call Matthews by his name instead of calling him Marshall?

This could have something to do with it from the AFL site,

Sam Marshall

We're back baby!

Vintage T-Mac around the arc today and a lovely intercept pack mark there.

Do the commentators know something we don’t, as they’re concerned about what happened to the ‘Casey’ Demons when they move to Caulfield

Also not sure why MonizWakefield hasn’t come on,they’re blissfully unaware he’s missed a year of football 🤦‍♂️

43 has missed at least 2 very clear high tackles against us so far (1st Q) and him & mates giving alot of tiggy touchwoods to Brisvegas on the other side.

Moniz & Mentha getting alot of it. If Moniz can clean up the finish and finesse a little when he's closer to the forward 50 (not alone) he'll be very handy at AFL level at some point.

Yep. Didn't do their homework on that

Wow...Brissy players just running through the protected zone with zero ramifications from the umps

huge pack mark to adams across half back

of course, he immediately turned it straight over by foot...

This is the year to clean up parts of his game surely? Been in the system for a while now.

he just looks so slow by thought as much as deed - his positioning is routinely poor, he doesn't react to the game situation, and his disposal is not good at vfl level, so can't imagine it'll improve at afl level

he looks a long way off it

It's going to be a long year for Casey. Nothing in the midfield, bit hard to ask Kentfield to do everything up forward and the backline is leaking goals. Impressed with Mentha his best game for the club so far. The rest have been ordinary.

  • GAMEDAY: Brisbane

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
