Those I didn’t see…

May, Turner, Max, Mihochek, Steele, Langdon, Laurie, Bowey, Melksham, McAdam, Rivers, Campbell, Sharp, Kosie.

Kev said sparrow was in top one or two just before I arrived. Certainly looks fit. Him CJ and Jai look the goods.

Tim Lamb and Jason Taylor working the phones throughout the session. At least one lengthy conference away from the group

I thought there were new social media laws banning phones when bras are out

ca someone post results? greatly appreciated. sharp a lock for first

Sharpie isn’t here. He’s not a required player. My guess is that everyone knows he’ll nail it so what’s the point. I told Selwyn as much and he didn’t say that’s not the reason 😄 He also didn’t tell me who won.

Mystery solved! The guy who was here at Gosch’s a couple of weeks ago isn’t Gus Brayshaw like some of us thought. He’s Casey’s midfield coach, Dylan Roberton, he played for the Saints for the majority of his career, his first two years were with Freo.

I think you can take to the bank that Langford will be in #4.

You would also have to think that Lindsay is a good chance to be in #5. I don't know why he changed to a blank guernsey since the first session. Perhaps a change of mind taking on the number of such a big name. I just don't see any reason for either of them not just donning their 19 and 20.

Good chance that CJ is number 9. You wouldn't think his rig would fit in Sparg's guernsey.

Retired due to a heart condition after collapsing during a game in 2018. Was actually a very good player for the Saints before that (I googled all of this...)

Dylan Roberton has been with Casey coaching group for a couple of years now and also does some development role with the AFL side as well.

Only know this because a family friend of mine trialled at Casey last year.

Harves is definitely #4 now

X is definitely #5

They’re the only two that are officially set

I assume the 5th year and aboves will do a time trial upon their return.

The entire squad is on a training camp next week. I think they said it’s in Bright.

Left a tad early. Summary was that there was not much to see. A few drill stations to break up a lot of transition drills that in my view was to focus more on running from d50 to f50 repetitively.

Th vibe was pretty low key and not much stood out to me other than Max Heath’s size. He also appeared rather agile too so could provide a great chop out for Max.

Good to see a few the senior leaders present too. Chin looks to me as someone who is definitely going to command consideration for the leadership group and potential future captaincy.

He can take Neitz’s jumper if size is an issue

The girls came out at midday, after the guys were done. What a special moment it was to greet them as they came across from AAMI. So bloody proud of them.

Maevo is a test for this week. She did look great while rehabbing though. She’s hopeful she will be right 🤞

Banno came across on her own. She looked downcast. I didn’t speak with her, I just waved. She could barely muster a smile.

Liv continued to do what she’s been doing since going down in round two: dedicated and disciplined rehab. She’s a pleasure to watch. Her attitude is inspiring.

This is how every training session starts…

You’d be pushing to find a more united group of people anywhere.

Circle work. That was my strong suit.

Edo was walking on air. She’s itching to get back out there on Saturday.

I made a request to her. It was about a former Dees player who now plays for North and what I’d like Edo to do to her. I barely finished the sentence when she emphatically said, “[censored] oath I will!” 😂

Looks divided to me, tall players on one side short on the other.

It wouldn't come as a huge surprise if she is omitted from the team this week.

That was my first thought.
