Rubbish call

Maggots at it again. Same two as we had in our last game

I don't think the Giants can beat The Crows next week but The hawks could. We need at least one team going out in straight sets.

what happened to purring the whistle away in finals in the last Q

2 frees

just throw the whistle away FFS

GWS kick seven in a row and look like running over Hawthorn.

Umpires: “hold our beers.”

apart from the 7 goal surge in the 3rd quarter, hawks have been the better team

too many passengers for the giants

That miss by Toby hurt to. I'd normally back him to kick that

It's just nice to see a close final.

I give the hawks a chance next week against the crows. There backline can take the crows forward line

Watching TNT Sports1 with Ch 7 commentary

Hopefully I don't have to watch the GP qualifying tonight on Canadian TV (ads and lots of them)

Gee whizz. All the teams we love to hate won. I can easily see Hawthorn rolling Adelaide next week.

Aha.. excluding Carlton and Collingwood, is there a more degenerate club like the Hawks? You have grown men (mind you) like Watson (22 years of age), with a full beard and people excusing his antics as “being young”.

Then, you see fully grown men , Hawks fans in their 40’s and 50’s dabbing and doing all sorts of hand signs. 😂🤡

I can to but gee a Geelong hawks prelim would be juicy

The three teams I hoped would win have all been beaten and my preferred GF winner has been eliminated.

I don't care who wins tonight so there's that, I suppose.

Where the only winner would be apathy.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
