I’m sure the Lions weren’t expecting Logan Morris to come on like he has during this season. I wonder if Oscar Allen is still required?

Good question. I think he’s a FA, so it’s probably worth taking him, as it’ll only cost cap space.

Dear Commentators, we know how old Pendlebury is and how long he’s been playing for; we don’t need to be reminded of these points every single time he has a touch or enters the frame.

Collingwood will run out of gas, Adelaide just can’t let the score blow out too much. They’ve been Burgessized so they’ll come back.

Why does Garry Lyon need to rabidly commentate from a Collingwood perspective?

AFL directive. Also applies to Geelong.

I'm not sure you know this ET, but he comes from a basketball background and also, time stands still when he has the ball

The season has come to me enjoying watching other games more.

Especially seeing Cwood beaten.

Bit I think that's always been a very close alternative.

I for one love the AFL's commitment to growing the game in Sydney by showing us Essendon St Kilda and not this silly little top-4 game between two contenders with question marks over them, with wild momentum swings close scores and blah blah blah...

Suck on a fat one Maynard

I don’t hear what you hear. Seems impartial to me.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
