This has to be one of the most boring seasons of AFL ever

There is not one decent game left this round. Odds of $17 and even $21!

Our game probably the best chance of an upset. maybe port.

Might do some gardening

I know how you feel Dundee. Lying in bed this morning it was, am I going or not! It's 9.50 and still no decision.

I’m at a loss as to what blockbuster I will watch tonight… Damn, fell asleep making up my mind.

That didn’t age well.

Pear woke up in the second quarter, and even Carlton had a decent quarter. Pity they both couldn’t get over the line though

Sunny day at the G. Get in there OD

🙂👍🏻

Ross Lyon: “it was an ugly match, horrific skills from both sides”

Still can’t fathom how we let this rabble beat us twice in the same season and the fashion in which we lost.

St Kilda kicks 3 in the first and 4 thereafter in perfect conditions. Absolute joke.

You’ll be calling him Mick next, OD.

Thats down to the Players! in the last game they lost the un lose able and it cost SD his job.

Bloody predictive script NC, that's my excuse!

The Collingwood Misses Finals Door is still ajar!

We lose to Haw and we beat the Pies and a few other results go the right way (nothing huge really) and the Pies will be ‘schrodingers finalists’ waiting for GCS to beat ESS in the empty round before finals and kick them out.

Eagles young players having a red hot go at the Crows. Great game of footy in term of run and intensity.

Surely west coast couldn’t

For most of the game they have been the better team. Thilthorpe running ragged in the last quarter will probably get the Crows over the line. Amazing effort from the WCE boys.

Shanahan looks a beauty

I love McVee but would trade him in a heartbeat for Jobe

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
