NON-MFC: Round 05

Every time Adelaide hit a forward on the chest I’m like ‘ooo, nice pass’

But are they actually nice passes or is it that I haven’t seen any decent forward entries for 4 years.

Of all the rules we have stuffed up, man in front being paid the mark is now rubbery. Stuff me.

What’s a fully managed training program please.

Time outs basically

Geelong getting their usual umpire love. At home, interstate, anywhere.

Umpires doing their best to ruin a high standard game

Yeah, I’m a bit pay the Mark to the man in front type of opinion as well.

BTW. Is that the useless bastard that WE usually get?

They must’ve forked out for the extended coverage package.

Watching the crows forwards It’s frustrating & unbelievable how our club hasn’t been able to develop & trade in any power forwards to maximise our premiership window!

We could only manage 6 goals in a full game against Jeeelong. Such a massive difference…5 marks for the Quarter!!!

Crows are awesome to watch. Fast, hard, 3 big forwards kicking goals, good skills.

This alone should be the reason to say goodbye to the coach and most of the FD. Complete waste of our window.

Where’s Jeremy Cameron? So weird, thought he wasn’t even playing

11 goals in a half. Just imagine that…!!!

The Crows will annihilate us.

Besides WC, who won't?

Lmao, in spite of our elite talent on paper, we should be relishing shootouts like this, but instead, we can’t engage in a shootout even if our lives depended on it. We can only dream about 60-72 pts at half time these days.

Essendon are no mugs and still put up 100 in a 60 pt loss, so if they are “on” Kako is the exact player to kick a bag on us think Brad Dick.. but only difference is, Kako is looking to be a bonefide superstar.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
