Jaded No More 68,976 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 I guess CJ's injury wasn't as bad as first suspected, which is great. 426 now playing as a defender? That's an interesting move. Could he have been the next big thing after Dutchy?
monoccular 17,759 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Hope to see thousands of footy starved Demon fans there to support Sandringham and get to form their own views on Newton, Garldand, etc. NOTE: MFC Membership gets you in to Sandy's home games for $0 .
WonnaJurah 5 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 is that Daniel Breese in the boxes some big footy names in that side tuck, daniher, kennedy,Moss
mikeod 21 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Any idea on the reserves? These are what interest me the most as there are the ones I normally see...
Alan Smithee 0 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Interesting to see Garland named in a back pocket. News to me. Wonder if he'll line-up there?
Madness 44 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 I'll be sure to head down, hope to see you all there!
deanox 10,070 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Interesting to see Garland named in a back pocket. News to me. Wonder if he'll line-up there? i heard he played a game or two at CHB?
Jarka 767 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 426 now playing as a defender? That's an interesting move. Could he have been the next big thing after Dutchy? He played alot of his junior footy at CHB, he was described as a "quarterback" type of defender, as in he'd really direct the play down the ground, I'm actually surprised we didn't try him there more often.
classy dees 42 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 dunn, newton, sautner and miller ... that is a ridiculously tall forward line.

That's pretty interesting. I'd love to check out Sandy this week but I have two exams on Monday morning.
Lil_red_fire_engine 11,376 Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 BIG RED SIGNING IN: Can anyone confirm a Sandy Reserves Side? Will likely head down early if Hayes and Weetra are named?
deanox 10,070 Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 dunn, newton, sautner and miller ... that is a ridiculously tall forward line. yeah the same deal last week with miller kicking 6 and newton getting two. sautner had a quiet one allowing the others to step up a bit (dunn got one, but apparently did some other nice things)... it will be interesting to see how they go again this week, and if miller plays the same full forward role he played last week.
Dee*ceiving 1,738 Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 dunn, newton, sautner and miller ... that is a ridiculously tall forward line. Dunn might spend alot of time on the wing as he did in his last few games for the demons. Seems ND is keen on developing him as a rangy wingman/link man who is good over head. Be a good target when coming out of defence.
Whispering_Jack 31,365 Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 BIG RED SIGNING IN: Can anyone confirm a Sandy Reserves Side? Will likely head down early if Hayes and Weetra are named? Looks like an early start to the day for you Big Red. Hayes and Weetra plus Neville are all selected in the reserves team (see Barry's amended first post). Interesting to see that Nathan Brown has been given the rest this week although he could have been selected (assuming that our injury list is correct and he's not injured).
