OK, so Mihocek, is really official now,

we also receive pick 71, and give up our 3rd round pick (which we got from Brisbane) and a 2026 3rd round pickScreen Shot 2025-10-10 at 11.22.50 am.png

I really do try to keep it factual though.

the Age, Foxfooty and the AFL website have all said Mihocek is coming to Melbourne. on a 2 year deal.

the finer points of compensation/late pick swap has not been finalised, but it is happening.

OK so sometimes I go a little early, and no not rely on it being posted on the official melbournefc website. but they are slower than a legless camel

I will endeavor to be more patient in the future. I also want this seen as a Factual Bible of our list

there is no other club. or site, where such a comprehensive and up to date list exists in the entire AFL.

It is a BIG responsibility I really try to take seriously

I reckon you do a great job and appreciate all your efforts. It isnt easy to keep it current and sort the rumours from the facts. I have found that you always seem to get it right or amend as soon as any errors are noticed.

Keep up the good work.

10 out.

6 in: Culley, Henderson, Mihocek, Heath, CJ, Steele

4 spots open and Woey.

3 picks: 7, 8, 37

2 rookies: White and Sinnema?

I think you are probably right there. I'm not sure about Sinnema at this point, I hope so as I like him, but I think that's probably on the money.

Yep,

I think Woey will be delisted. we would have kept him if we had got rid of May.

isnt it 34 and 4

so drafting at 7,8,37 and adding white at 66, takes us to 38 and no rookie picks

with taj holding on for 12 months

My maths were off - 6 list spots open with Woey on the list.

ND11, ND12, ND37, White, with Sinnema and another rookie.

nah you're off again aha

its 42 max plus B rookies

so were at 34 so plus 4 ND picks 3 live and white

would mean no rookies, or we take 3 live and add white as a rookie going in with 37/5 split

44 Max players, we have 40.

we can fit in and 2 main list and 2 rookies or 3-1, 4-0

if we take White and Sinnema with our 2 available rookie spots that leaves

7,8,37 picks and only 2 positions available, (unless we drop Woey)

depends if what is available at 37 is better than Jnr.

You could upgrade Culley and have 37 after delisting Woey. Then 2 more A rookies. One of Sinemma, Te Amu or White misses out unless you use pick 37 for one of them.

MELBOURNE
Tom Campbell*
Kade Chandler
Jai Culley*
Bayley Fritsch
Steven May
Tom McDonald
Jake Melksham
Christian Salem
Tom Sparrow

These are the fellas approaching free agency in 2026.

Curious what our approach will be with Salo and Sparrow. Any chance Tom would want to return to SA?

Not just FA, there are lot whose contracts run out next year. May, Campbell, one of Jefferson or Johnson, Laurie, McAdam, Tom Mac, Jake M, Henderson, Mentha ...

We could just about make it to double figures again, which would be like turning over half the list across 2 seasons.

Either is fine but prefer A

A for me thanks RABF.👍

@red and blue forever thanks so much for all the work you put into this. I really appreciate it. I often refer to it. It's a great resource.

11 outs this year. More than any other team. I can see a potential for another 9 or 10 next season. As bing181 says potentially nearly half the team in two years. The the new coach is stamping his authority before he's done a minute of coaching. Now for the on ground results. Reminiscent of the clean out under Roosy. Who would have thought at the end of 2021 that was going to happen. Is it already only 12 left from the Premiership team.

Edited by Its Time Again

either ok probably A but whichever is easier for you to maintain

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
