Just checked our draw for the next few rounds. Hey we are a big show to win 7 in a row. I"m not sure whether it would be good or not, considering we have written this season off and are looking for high draft picks.

I'll take all the wins we can get

Unfortunately I am not as positive about this as I'd like to be.

We are a chance come Monday, but to be in the game we can't just turn up and outscore the opponent for a Qtr or 2 like we have done.

Also, theres Port at AAMI & Dockers in Subi. On current form this is a big ask. Then there's a plane to Sydney & Brisbane and the Blues times two. Remember last year?

we should try and win as many games as we can...realistically if we win 8 that would be a fantastic achievement....and we would still come bottom 4.

its important for the young players devlopement that we keep winning...good for the culture, good for winning mentality and it means that they are contributing and playing well

We've been pathetic in 6 out of 10 games, competitive but not good enough in 3 and managed to crack it for a win against an interstate club at home last weekend in unconvincing fashion after leading by a seemingly insurmountable amount at 3 qtr time.

I love your optimism but what really makes you believe there is any chance we'll win 7 in a row?

Well weve one last week. Collingwood Monday, big show. Essendon, Carlton, Brisbane, Kangaroos, Port over there and there not that good at the moment. That gives me 7. Ive always been an optimist though. Gotta be this year.

Geez, last week you would have thought that the club was about to keel over and die given the way people were talking about it, now it is 8 game winning streaks that people are talking about.

Lets just take it 1 week at a time. I rather we do what Port did last year and show something late in the season to carry on with next year. Losing is not a habit we want our young guys to get into

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
