Petracca hit the games threshold to make it here before his injury, while Gawn is clear as the top ruck according to player ratings.

Houston’s ratings (particularly kick related) have been lights out for 18 months, so no surprise to see him there for Port.

Whilst we do bag Champion Data, when it doesn't suit our narrative, I am very very pleased for ANB.

Judd McVee surely couldn’t have been far off the list. 
 

I was a critic of ANB and at the end of 2020 would have been happy to see him move on. But now I love the guy, his work rate and commitment to the team is outstanding. We lack a bit of what he brings to the team and he is now one of our more important players. Very happy to see him get any recognition that comes his way.

He will be up there I would think...not sure if he could win it but he's been consistent.

How does ANB make the list and not Merrett?

Richmond have 2 on the list and both look like they'll head back to WA next season... tough times coming for them.

Merrett is rated significantly higher than ANB, but Merrett is classified as a midfielder and ANB a mid-forward. Merrett is the 15th highest rated player in the competition but most players above him are too.
