Sadly agree

I hope Maynard doesn’t get delayed concussion and miss KBD. I want to see May to do what Darcy did.

Shame Harmes is out of the game, he could have finished the job for his mate Gussy

I was hoping Melksham would be ready to play KB and show Maynard his ex boxing skills.

Probably beating a dead horse but it’s amazing how the premier mainstream broadcast can have 3 commentators that suck energy out of a game.

No charisma, no insightful takes (I reckon Richo was much better early on and he’s fallen to BT and Brayshaws level) and from a very basic broadcast perspective they speak in monotone!!! It’s incredible to me that there isn’t someone in production telling them to EMOTE MORE WITH YOUR VOICE.

They are a constant distraction from the game from how ducking boring they are

I’d love that too, but it won’t happen. Collingwood don’t want attention drawn to that miscarriage of justice last September and because the AFL is Collingwood’s little b!ttch they’ll make sure it’s not in the spotlight.

I can't comment on the commentators because i have the mute button engaged. always

Hate to say it but it’s true, their gameplay takes care of itself. They don’t look like they suffer very much no matter what the injury.

”Never forget.”

would

”Maynard is a maggot” be too controversial?

Nah we can't afford to lose May. In fact if I was the melbourne team next week I wouldn't say one word to Maynard. Not one. It will mess with his head. Just go in a bit harder with the extra tackle.

Geez you go outside for a cigarette to calm your seething anger, come back inside and the Doggies are in front. 😃

  • AFLW REPORT: West Coast

Melbourne’s response to last week’s heartbreak was emphatic, as the Demons delivered a statement win over West Coast at a windswept Casey Fields. All of the pre-match hype surrounded the coach’s box matchup of Mick Stinear up against his apprentice, Daisy Pearce along with the gloomy weather forecast. In the end, it was less about tactical chess and more about Melbourne’s relentless execution. With rain looming, the DeeArmy and early birds snapped up the best undercover viewing spots.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.
