Judd and Johno 9

I am a huge fan of McV and see the comparisons between him and Allan Johnson from the late 80s and early 90s another gun wa back pocket.

Poise and skill .

Alan Johnson must be felling a bit schizophrenic (although in a good way). He's been compared with both McVee and Windsor today (see the Windsor thread). High praise indeed...to all three players.

that run and carry and constant 1-2 give-and-get in that video is SO MUCH like caleb windsor to me

Alan Johnson was a fantastic player, in a very tough era

One of the Demons best

Alan Johnson was a helluva player. Dashing from half back or wing, great hands, beautiful long kick and footy nous. Remember some magnificent long goals from the 40 to 50 m out that set Demon fans alight. What a dasher!

BIG Caleb Windsor vibes in that play!

Alan Johnson. Good times*. Just a ripper player with the ball. Loving the comparisons.

I like your thinking!

Think there are some similarities but Johnno was a thumping kick. Regularly kicked it 55-60 metres.
