If McKay wasn't his size he'd be playing in some suburban 3rds side.

It feels like we are murdering them, and the only chances they get are from our mistakes.

Tracs disposal pretty iffy so far

He's certainly getting his hands on the ball though.

Great start from the Demons. Kicking good especially in this heat.

5 marks inside 50 in the first quarter

first time i’ve seen that for a while!

And there is why you kick to the pocket!

beautifully slotted windsor. reckon JT has done it again.

Caleb Windsor you are a jet.

A lock for round zero.

good goal son

I want Windsor on the wing round 1. We have a lot of in-and-under players, and he offers a lot more than Hunter out wide.

i hope Fritschy and JVR don't kick like this during the season

Has fritta done something with his hair?

Not sure, but I think he dipped his left foot in grease prior to the game. His kicking!!!

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
