genuinely can't believe we have three players of the quality of petracca, oliver, and gawn in our side at the same time...

...let alone adding may, lever, salem, rivers, brayshaw, viney, and pickett to those three...

Extended version is very insightful of Trac's thinking. Thanks for posting

Just watched it on Utube, great interview and great mindset, I love the way Tracc is so honest and doesn’t mind going deep with the answers, very honest, he lives for these finals games and yes we are indeed fortunate to have Christian Petracca playing for us. Thank goodness the Saints didn’t take him Pick 1.!!!!

Was certainly an excellent and enjoyable interview.

Fingers crossed that Christian Petracca is fired up for a HUGE game against Collingwood next week in the Qualifying Final! 🤞

GO DEMONS!!! 🔴🔵👹

There have been times where I've heard people bang on about "we should have taken/chased such and such player" and said people have played up those players skills/physical attributes. I've been grateful that we have looked beyond that and also sort players who exhibit character and intelligence. For there is resilience and strength in players like Trac beyond skills/physical attributes. Yes, the skills/physical attributes are a must but when you're in the trenches give me a player full of character and determination and combine that with someone who knows there fears but can perform regardless and you have a receipt for a team of of great players. Trac in this interview exhibits all the qualities of a leader that you want up and coming players to emulate.

The surface level critique of Trac when he was drafted was that he was arrogant. I would now describe him as self aware. Completely comfortable with talking honestly about himself - his strengths but also his weaknesses.
Could there be a better personality trait for a professional athlete to help them deal with constant criticism and praise and use what they need to improve themselves? A bad misread by St kilda and it's been our great fortune ever since.

Can't help but feel we would be minor premiers if he wasn't injured this year.

Not to worry. He’ll kick the goals to win us the flag instead.

Has a couple of months off then comes back in against Swans to kick five. Not too shabby.

He may well be the x factor in this year's finals.

Have long thought he is our next captain.  Looks like he is being groomed for it.

He may not fill Max's 'Big Shoes' but will be a wonderful successor to the great man.

It's been a great little series so far.

So Hamish McLaughlin is just a gun for hire here, right? He has no Melbourne allegiance does he?

Where can I find the others in the series?

If you go through the MFC YouTube Channel you'll keep up to date with them. There have only been 3 videos in the series. I don't expect they'll interview Clarry, although they should.

Here is Jack Viney -

Here is Max -

GL you'll note is the original host and HM has hosted the last two - on the same day as well, so I wonder if they did a 3rd or 4th interview with HM to get bang for buck in this series.

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.

It's Game Day, and reinforcements are finally arriving for the Demons—but will it be too little, too late? They're heading down the freeway to face a Cats side returning home to their fortress after two straight losses, desperate to reignite their own season. Can the Demons breathe new life into their campaign, or will it slip even further from their grasp?

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
