I should have wagged work. I am not productive at all.

Tomorrow will be worse, but I have meetings I need to be switched on for. At least they are in the morning, so I can take an early mark and sneak out. My boss is going to line up for MCC walk ups, so I'm safe.

I haven't slept for two nights 😅

Grundy smiled. That's all I have to report so far.

Clearly he’s not taking this seriously enough.

They're walking out now

How packed is Gosch's ? Hoping there's a huge contingent of Dees supporters, probably mostly kids and teens because they don't have to face the hard reality of having a job.

Times like this I hate living interstate.

Enjoy everyone!

Training updates would be greatly appreciated.

If you're south of the Murrumbidgee @dazzledavey36 then you're not really interstate.

It's a decent turnout. Feel like there might have been more last year but still good. Plenty of kids around and slippery fellows like me sneaking out of work for an hour or so.

Apparently Jordon wasn’t doing the previous 2s session. He is with the ones.

I guess Jordan wasn't singing a mosified version of this prior to training then:

(I don't wanna be in the ones, don't wanna be in the ones, I don't want to be in the ooooones!!!)

My highlight so far and it is going to be hard to top the merchandise girls walking around handing out posters to the fans and trying to give Brad Green one.

Kozzy’s left knee strapped like it was this time last year.

How's he moving?

Fellow Dees tragic Caden McDonald has a song on Spotify about that . I think it's called Don't want to play in the 1's.

Fritsch moving reasonably well

Reasonably well? What does that mean?

Nothing, just didn't want to early crow and have someone rubbish it so I hedged it.

To my eyes he's moving very well

If he wasn’t strapped I wouldn’t know. Same as last year though. It appeared late in the season.

Hard to get a read on him, haven't seen him stride out a lot yet but his agility seems ok.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
