Remember when umpire descent was a rule?

Which week was that?

So Pepper and another Port player are allowed to willingly enter the protected zone straight into the oppos 45 angle area.  If he wanted to play on there he's blocked.

And they both entered from a fair way out not caught there a split second after the mark was paid.

They arent trailing an opponent as their opponent is behind them on the fat side

Then in shock they both turned on a dime and exited with hands in the air as if to say "oh sorry... didnt see that"

No free on either occasion.

The reason the "stand" rule was introduced in the first place was to stop that very thing from happening and pay a 50 immediately it does.

So the question then has to be asked....

WHY ARE WE STILL CONTINUING WITH THE STAND RULE?

Scrap this BS rule FCS

Or even dissent. Descent would imply that they could get lower - is this possible?

4 corners on Monday night was interesting.

AFL pulls direct percentages on bets wagered with betting companies.

Gets about $40 million a year in income I think it was.

A close game is a lucrative game. Keeps people wagering.

Thanks for that.  Explains a lot actually.

Immoral and unconscionable.

Big fan of Finlayson.

He'd go alright beside JVR and Fritta

Geez Dixon moves with the pace and grace of a prawn trawler these days

Happy for Port to win, then we can make the Cats season close to impossible next week.

Alright. I’ll retract this.

I don’t care which team gets the free - but riding someone into the ground from behind (Allir this time) should never be HTB.  NEVER.
