I assumed it has something to do with the contracts they agreed to with Casey Council.

Probably because Footscray are a Western Bulldogs reserves team entered into the VFL competition while Casey/old Springvale are a VFL team we have an alignment with.

They say you should usually stick with your first instinct so im going with chook 😅

Think i might need to bring my 'Sestan to debut by Rnd 12ish' prediction forward 🤣

Meanwhile, Casey’s premiership coach Mark Corrigan who now coaches Geelong’s VFL team is under the pump up on the Gold Coast where his Cats are down by 13 goals late in the third quarter.

Andy Moniz-Wakefield for the 2nd week in a row has impressed me a lot.

For those wanting to watch both games at the ground, travel and finishing times leave for very little hope.

Casey finishes aroud 2 pm, leaving 1 1/2 hrs to travel 50 km into town and gain entry to the G. Is there anyone trying to do this? Can't do it on public transport.

They really aren't encouraging the supporters!

One positive, I would get into Casey for free with my membership, LOL.

Lovely to watch around goals. Has the moves and can slot them from anywhere at times.

If he keeps his head down and works his butt off he could make it for sure.

I'd like to see Jefferson take a screamer of a mark. Good conditions to get the timing right.

McDonald much too good for VFL level

This is not a secret but I think a few weeks of dominating at this level and getting some touch back and confidence in this foot could do him a world of good. It’s a long season and he’s coming from a long way back in terms of missing half a season and doing a modified pre season.
A fit and firing Tmac in September goes a long way to us winning a flag.

McDonald and Tomlinson have been very dominant. Petty would want to play well, otherwise I could see him potentialy losing his spot

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
