l have this belive that we can win on sunday.

is it becouse neitz or just hope that we have to win one soon.

2 weeks ago l thought that we would not win a game till round 9 againts the roos.

after tonights game the roos dont look like the easy beat team of 2 weeks ago.

lets just look at the next few games

PORT

BULLDOGS

EAGLES

ROOS

CROWS

COLLINGWOOD

wear do you think we can win our first game and who is the weakest team among these teams.

this will take us to the half way point .

why do l ask becouse something inside me thinks we could still make a big dent this year.

and blood the rest of our young and get ready for one BIG 2008

collingwood looms as our best chance (if we lose today) simply because we should have robbo, wheels, chooka back

but then again i wuldnt be surprised to see us beat west coast and then go 1-12 or something like that after it :P

Hopefully we will win at least one of those games.

Our problem is that it will take the players with the longer term injuries longer to get form and fitness. Then the team has to 'gel' together and recapture that winning feeling.

If we are zip 9 or 1 8 then i would say the club would definetly start planning for 2008. Play the kids and just let the coaching panel coach as best it can and maybe try a few things that you would not do if vying for a spot in the 8.

We'll win today.

I went to Hawthorn vs Essendon yesterday (god we could do with a Buddy Franklin, he was on fire) and was mulling at the train station in my Dees jacket surrounded by Bombers when i decided to get out of the rain and buy a packet of chips, and lo and behold, there was a little toy card in it.

Chooks, a classy big man is exactly what we need. With this devastating run a injuries we may get a draft pick which will enable us to get a big player who can replace Neitz or White down the track.
